My mum hopes to come the Dubai for Christmas from the UK. She has been quoted GBP750 for 3 weeks insurance. She is 92 years old, does anyone have any recommendations for a good travel insurance provider either in the UK or UAE that offers good rates. Thanks for any help offered.

Trade Centre Apartments used to take dogs so perhaps you could check them out http://www.theapartments.ae/En/Pages/Location.aspx Alternatively perhaps you could put you dog in kennels initially.

Good morning, Apart from the tennis courts attached to Fitness First are there are communal tennis courts attached to the swimming pools. Thanks for and input.

Hi, Perhaps you should contact one of the new schools as normally it is easier to get places there rather than a more established school that may be full. Try Sunmarke in JVT, Dubai British School in Jumeirah Park or Kings at Al Barsha as they may be able to help you and are quite close to the Springs. Good luck.

Some of the shops are open all day and other vary. Most will be open after Iftar. Sorry not much help its all a bit hit and miss.

I had a couple of sofa made years ago. Luckily when I ordered them I look a swatch of the fabric with me which was just as well as they were made in completely the wrong fabric. I sent them back on the delivery lorry to be remade.

Home status differs from Uni to Uni, my son was offered home status at one Uni but not at 2 others he was offered places at. Home status can depend on various factors but it seems the final decision rests with each individual Uni.

Can you swap the barrel with another lock in your apartment, we were able to do this in our villa. If so you will be able to swap it back before you leave and there will be no cost.

I have stopped using them as well. Last time my lab came out smelling the same as he did when he went in, I was out at the time or I would have asked them to do him again. I had other niggles with them also so wont bother again. Good luck though but make sure you are happy with your dog when they hand him back.
