For your 3 years old, if you have british passport you should apply to DESS(doha english speaking school). If not, Doha College got two campuses ( Al WAbb and West bay) in Doha and they are very good school academically and reasonable fees. i would recommend you to register your 3 years old now. otherwise you can consider Sherborun School We used to live in Al Jazi Gardens where it is located in West Bay. its a lovely compound with facilities - swimming pools, tennis court, squash court. i think 3 bed villas might be around QAR19,000+ they might have increased their fee. They have long waiting list, and you need to go into the management office to remind them you are serious about moving in their company and doubt they actually follow or update their waiting list. Also they have lots of after school lessons for school - tennis, swimming, playball, lego lessons...etc on site which is very convenient you don't have to live the compound. round the corner got a al Meena supermarket. otherwise most people live around Villagio Mall area further outside the West Bay. then i would say Beverly Hills 10 is quite nice. I would say to choose a accommodation based on school run. Nursery wise, it's quite limited too there. If you like British curriculum one, in west bay area, there are: 1. Tiny Town British Nursery 2. Fun Fair nursery My family and I just moved back from Doha last year in easter. We lived there for two plus years. give me a shout if you need anymore info or help. good luck at our move

It's peak season now all the way to august that's prob why the shipping company didn't come back to you for a survey. I had used ISS and not a good experience at all from our Dubai to Doha move. Recently we are moving back to Dubai with GAC but will let you know when it's done. Sante Fe for my friend move from Singapore to Doha was ok

If you hold British passport you can put your name down with DESS as it's british embassy sponsored and only for british passport holders. Doha College is a very good school they are well advanced than the UK curriculum state school. most of the preschool year for sept 2015 already allocated and a long waiting list for most school. You can consider to put your 3 year old into a nursery for a year and go to reception year next year instead.

I stayed in Al Jazi Gardens in West Bay. It's a lovely compound where my two young sons really love it. They have swimming pools, tennis court, squash court, badminton court, football field...etc. 3 bed town house is asking for 19k for unfurnished. However traffic is probably the priority you need to consider for your husband work and children's school places. otherwise most expats living in the al waab area where the big shopping mall - Villagio mall is. Beverley Hills 1 and 10 are very nice with good facilities.

I ordered from them once a month or few months. delivery usually takes 3 days plus or a week. however, their customer service is excellent. most of the products have a competitive price too.

Thanks Qatwoman, will contact Euromover to get an quotation. May I ask which insurance company you use? We obliged to use AXA thru most removal companies as they signed contract with them.

My family are going to move to Dubai from Doha in May and we need a 40ft container. Have you got any good recommendations which shipping company to use? Any feedback will be appreciated so far we got two quotations: 1. GAC - QAR27+ 2. Crown - QAR29+ so far it seems super expensive as when we moved from Dubai to Doha last year, we paid only 17k+insurance.

Thanks a lot darlingboys. I feel more relief that Kings Al Barsha soon finishes off the construction. Safety is very important for us.
