I contacted emover, supremeway and packnmove for quotation. Emover didn't show up but they told us on the phone they charge 1,900 per truckload. We move from near financial center metro station to the views. We decided to use packnmove not because of the charge (they quoted almost the same) but because they are the fastest to reply as we didn't have much time for the move. I'm happy with them, professional polite and didn't break a thing. Pack and unpack everything i told them to.

They bring their own vacuum machine and a steam mop. They also bring a ladder for cleaning the a/c air vent. They clean inside the closet and kitchen cabinet. The 2 points i deduct is they didn't clean behind the door of the cabinet under the kitchen sink. Maybe they didn't think i would look there or maybe not enough time. They suggest 5 hours cleaning for my apartment but it was not very dirty and it was an empty room with no furniture or curtain so i told them 4 hours. As for bathroom the faucets and mirror are shiny but if you have mold on the tiles they cannot do much.

I used Rosgold just 2 weeks ago before moving into the new apartment. They sent 2 guys for the 2 bedrooms apartment and took 4 hours to clean. They will ask about the size of your room and will recommend if you need more hours or more people to come. They bring all cleaning materials so i just let them do the job and come back to check 1-2 times. I am happy though i cannot give them full score, they did miss a few spots but i might be too fussy (i'd give them 98/100 :-) worth checking them out to compare the quotation.

Hello all, Freckle, i know what you are talking about. I read it from this site http://www.baby2see.com/gender/external_genitals.html they call it angle of the dangle but i think it is the same thing with the nub theory. Mine is parallel :-) my nt scan at fmc was about 15-20 minutes but at city hospital it was a very short one. Maybe because my dr rushed out to do emergency c-section and everyone's been waiting for long time that she tried to make it short. My appointment was at 11am and i only saw her at 1.45. She only measure the length of baby and the nt thickness. She didn't even check the heartbeat but the baby is very active and didn't stop moving at all so i guess it's fine. I'm glad i went to fmc last week, it was much more detailed and we know the result within an hour. I only gained 1.5kg so far, how about you all? Now that the appetite is back i think that number will double soon. I still can wear my normal clothes but bye-bye the skinny jeans. My apartment is a mess coz we are moving to a new place. I hate moving :( all those packing and unpacking and buying new furnitures. Anybody lives in the greens? I'm moving to the views. Ok, i'm back to packing. Hope everyone is doing great!

Welcome AE85, hooray the june club is getting bigger :-) I went for my monthly checkup today and the dr ran a quick nt scan and a blood test because it's included in the package. She didn't refer me to do the nt scan at FMC so i didn't tell her that i went. I read from here that my dr is not good at doing the scan, maybe it's true because she only took one minute to check the thickness behind the neck then she sent me off to do the blood test. My last 2 scans were done by another dr/sonographer. Overall i'm happy with her but i hope she will do better for anomaly scan. Freckles, be naughty and go for it! We didn't ask but i do have feeling from the beginning that's it's gonna be a girl (though the furry tummy kinda confused me a bit) dr. pour mirza asked if we want to know but didn't wait for us to answer he just told us straight after the question. Anyway, boy or girl as long as it is healthy i'm happy :-) I'm up for the meet up but i guess we are not allowed to organize it ourselves so maybe choose one of the bumps and babes meet ups to start from?

Andrea, good luck with your scan. I hope everything is fine and baby shows you some cute actions :-) I never have flat tummy and I bloat a lot so i really don't know if it's showing yet. In the evening my tummy will show more because of bloating i guess. For the meeting, i'm still choosing which one to go to. I'm not driving so actually location doesn't matter much i'd have to take a cab anyway. I have my monthly checkup tomorrow at City, 13w1d, so excited to see the baby again :-) Dr. Pour Mirza said my baby is 90% to be a girl but i'll wait til 20 weeks scan before buying pink. I hope you all and your little bumps are doing fine :-)

Hi all, Kookee, how was your appointment? Freckle38, how was your scan? Hope everything went well. I had my nt scan done 2 days ago at 12w 3d and the result came out very good, what a relief! It was my hubby's first time inside the scan room with me so he too was very excited :-) I have appointment at City next week with a blood test. When do you all do the blood test? Back home we have to do it at the first visit but over here the hospital seem to do it after 12 weeks? All the antenatal package here starts at 12 weeks so it kinda make sense. I'm not working so i've also thought of going to the bumps and babes. I am normally very shy so feeling a bit scared to go :( i'm not good at socialising

I love love love Sri Panwa but it's wayyy beyond my budget. Last time i stayed at Dusit Laguna but it was for work so didn't use the facilities. My friend just stayed at Cape Panwa hotel and she loves it. The rate is just nice so i might stay there next time. Dusit Laguna is more for family in my opinion, you might prefer somewhere with more privacy if you want a romantic holidays. Check out Sri Panwa and Cape Panwa, you might like them.

Hello everyone, count me in! I'm due on june 15th, my first pregnancy :-) I told my family and friends when i was only about 5 weeks, i just can't keep it a secret it is such a great news! My hubby has more patience than me, his mom doesn't know yet haha. He's going to tell her next week :-) I go to city hospital, just bought antenatal package coz my insurance doesn't cover maternity. I booked a NT scan at FMC next week, hope it comes out ok. I'm so excited! My craving changes all the time i can't really say what i crave for. I have sweet tooth but seems i eat less sweet since i become pregnant. I actually have no appetite at all until i have food in front of me so i let my hubby orders if we eat out. I just notice very fine hair growing all over my tummy??? Anybody has the same?

It sure has enough space for the cot and the room has everything, all the kitchen utencils are provided if you want to make your own breakfast. There is woolworths a few blocks away to get some grocery. I think Docklands is also nice, check it out. There is a factory outlet there and many nice coffee shops. When i choose a place to stay, food is the first thing in mind haha so everywhere we go we want to make sure it's easy to find nice restsurant. That is the main reason i chose to stay in china town and we were spoiled by choices. My hubby and I are asians, btw :-) so it feels like home.

I stayed at a service apartment called Punthill, they have many locations. Your hubby may know which area is best. I chose Punthill Little Bourke in the middle of china town because the location is very good. It is surrounded by many good restaurants and within 5-10 mins walk to free shuttle bus and tram stop. They don't have a parking space though if you plan to drive you'd have to park at the paid parking area. I'm not sure how it should be like when you say family-friendly but punthill little bourke doesn't have a garden or a pool for kids to play. I am very happy with my stay so maybe you can check out the website? Hope this helps.
