Where am I coming from Lanarkwitch, in fact I am being relocated with my company from Cairo to Abu Dhabi and have found plenty of studios in my price range on Dubizzle and couchsurfing, wonderful site. I know exactly what the weather is like and the country not being dog friendly as I lived in Cairo, Egypt for 9 years. My dog is used to walking the streets as there is nowhere in Cairo to take your dog either. My company will help me with looking for an apartment but it will be a loan and I don't want to pay back a large sum of money so that's why I am looking for something monthly!!! I have come on this forum for help not to be spoken to as I am some sort of stupid woman. Lanarkwitch, if I can live in Cairo, I am sure I can live in an older building in Electra or Hamdan. Thank you for your advice anyway.

Thank's for your replies, I have been looking on Dubizzle and that seems a good site and many studios will take my dog. Also I understand that Al Bateen Towers area is very expensive and am willing to travel out a bit. I have been told that Hamdan or electra street is good and I love older buildings, I am not looking for anything fancy as long as its either got a small garden or a balcolny, I can make it fancy myself. what about Al Nayan, that's supposed to be nice. I am coming from a country that really does not tolerate animals, so having not many places to take her for walks is not a problem, I have heard there are doggy parks! really have no idea as long as there are good streets to walk, she is happy. The problem is that when I come I am bringing my pooch so I really would like to set up an apartment/studio now. Thanks for your replies.

I have been offered a position in a company in The Al Bateen Towers,Bainuna Street and would like to know where and how to look for an apartment/studio in that area or nearby as I don't drive in the price range of 3500 - 5000 AED monthly and from the owner (no brokers) I also have a dog, is it easy to get an apartment with a dog. Thanks for any help. Karen edited by Karen2912 on 18/10/2012

Did anyone come forward for this cocker, I have a cocker and they are adorable. I really hope his owners were found and that he was not abandoned.
