Hi thanks for that, so are all the company villas fully paid for, dewa etc? How far is DSO from Dubai it self? I.e. Dubai mall, MoE, etc?

We want to go it alone as for the housing front, my husband's friend is an FO at EK and he was given company accommodation for his family and it was really appalling somewhere in Mirdif, but you can go it alone and get somewhere yourself with an annual allowance. X

It's a good package that they offer, but wanted some first hand expience for current EK families. We have been there with him on shift before but it doesn't give you an idea of what its like to the live there. Is there many social groups out there for mothers and tots? Or playgroups type of thing? I'm hoping to get to go and have a look again next week as he has duty there next week so hopeful of going and having a proper look at it all. Do you reccommmed anywhere to live? I think out housing allowance is 155,000dhs for the F/O

Hi everyone, My husband has just been given the opportunity to work for emirates based in Dubai, he has also been offered a job with etihad as well. Could anyone shed some light on information living in Dubai, what the accommodation is like, medial healthcare, schooling costs.
