I have a suitor in my home country and I have promised my mom that I will meet him and I will consider dating him and getting to know him with the possibility of marrying him The reason that my family is trying to find me a good husband is that I am almost 30 and single and not even in a serious relationship. They believe that I have lived alone for so many years already (13 years) and I should be looking for a more mature lifestyle and to get married. My attempts to meet the prince charming and tie the knots have failed many times and at times I have been the one telling them that I wish I was married and had someone to share my happiness and my sorrow. I have nothing against marriage, but I think marriage is for two people who love each other and do not want to be without one another. Do you think I should get married just because of my age or the fact most of my friends are married and have kids? The idea of getting married, just because a guy is suitable or he is rich or that I might be getting too old to find the right man I just does not sink in my head. Is there really a time and age to get married??? Would you marry a guy you didn’t truly love?

I don’t see any logic behind this. What your in laws are asking you to do makes no sense at all. I to be honest I don’t think that it has anything to do with being Middle Eastern. As others have said too, you should follow your heart. Personally I don’t think I could ever forgive my man if he cheated on me. But again, I'm not married and have no experience in this area. I know plenty of women who have forgiven their cheating husbands. But I don’t think anyone them have asked their husband to return home. You story might be a sad one, but you seem like a very strong woman and I'm sure you will make the right decision. Best of luck

I havent had a chance to go this year yet. But I heard on Radio that it is much better than last year and they have exciting live shows at different pavilions..(last year was the worsth ) I have been going there every year for the past 8 years . I hope there is something new this year...

I am from Iran, I was born and raised there … Guess I am the only Iranian here in EW!! I have been called many names by people who no little or perhaps nothing about my country. But My ex bf who was English and he called me booboo !!!That has nothing to do with my nationality . Right ???

The walk used to be the only area that dogs were allowed. There were no signs there and people could eat at any restaurants outdoor sitting area and keep their dogs on the leash next to them. I used to take my dog there and my friend would do the same. Only recently the rule has changed and it’s now illegal to walk dogs on the walk... Rules keep changing here in Dubai. Even in Discovery gardens you can only walk you dog far from the main road. If on the main road the police have the right to fine the owner and take the dog....

Exercise will definitely help you.... Also try not to eat anything after 7 O’clock. Two slices of pineapple and four spoons of low fat yogurt is what I had every night as dinner for four months. It kills the appetite my doctor told me...you won't be hungry ...

Don’t worry Ice7 . You are not alone in this :) It takes time for your body to adapt to the new diet and it happens sometimes that you gain weight instead of loosing, especially at the beginning of a diet. How long have you been on the diet and what kind of diet is it??

I love the L'oreal mascara. Not sure about the name but the color of the container is golden and the brush has no hair on it . It looks more like a comb. The result is amazing...

I used to snore really loudly. My sister reordered the sound once and it was terrible. Tried different methods for a while and nothing seemed to work. Until I started my diet and the first pound that I dropped the snoring stopped and it never came back. Doctors say that most of the time it has a connection with our weight. And also with what we eat at night...

For once I want to stop planning and limiting my self to the plans, and routines and other's expectations from me. I want to take more risks and say yes to the new opportunities. I want to give myself options. NO MORE PLANING IN 2011. Oh before I forget, my last year resolution was to lose weight and I did drop two sizes and about 13 kilos .The only plan of my 2011 is to stay in shape and follow the healthy eating habit.
