Good night ladies,
I ' m asking for more informations about the pre marrital check up in hospital.
From what I found in internet it mostly consists on a blood test to check any genetic and blood diseases.
But is there any other kinds of test, like pregnancy, oral hygien, vaccinations checkup ?
I am asking because coming from France I need to know if I must bring my complete medical file or if it's only about blood sample.
Thank you for helping :)
Thank you all for your kind replies. I contacted Dubai France Ambassy and the Dubai court.
We know now all the procedures:
First I should ask for a single certificate from my Ambassy in Dubai. This can take up to one month to get. As in order to collect this documents I need to construct a complete file with my fiancé and I personal informations: birth certificate certify by MOFA, residency proof, ID copies, cutume certificates...and the ones of my Emirati Fiancé must be translated into French...
As I am a revert I should as well go in an centre to do an "Islam Embrassing certificate " and proceed to an "Islam knowledge test".
Finally We shoud then process to a medical check up both spouses together for check any gentics disease and contagious ones.
Then We will start collecting the document for Dubai court , and I need to Make my French documents translated into Arabic...
After that we can finally present ourself to the court after make an online request. We need 2 witnesses, I don't need my fathe approval as I'm a revert.
Inshallah after that the wedding will be celebrated !
Well I think it's still a long process :(:sick::\:
Thank you for your answer BlueSkySun
Well We will try to get more informations... I m gonna contact my ambassy today.
But regerdeless the post marriage procedure it's pretty complicated ...
Reniew a visa each 3 years ...For my life time ? Pretty Boring, how we gonna do when we will get old? Or if we fight lol I dont know, Or when my husband will passed away ... I don't see any protection for me in case of troubles ...
When I looked at wife sponsored by husband it the internet it's always in the case both expats are foreigner.
By the way I don't wish to change nationality, I want keep my French one if possible. I would change only if it has to deal eith my kids rights.
Salam Aleykum everyone.
I am new to this forum and desperately need some answers to my situation.
I am willing to marry an Emirati man. I have no idea how we should process.
I am currentely living in France and with French nationality.
Does someone has similar experience?
Should I contact my ambassis first or should he contacts the Dubai court?
Will I get permanent Visa?
( we are both muslims. I am on tourist visa)
