Thanks Ladies for your replies although some of them don't make any sense :) Everything is getting better thanks God. Sometimes you need just to speak out loud with a far person who can judge and give opinion properly, and that was my case yesterday, however I got some judgmental replies that can put a normal calm person in a very bad mood, Some speculations like "how my poor kids are" and "how miserable my family is" and "how an awful mom and wife I am". Then we left the whole thing and started to discuss about "how weird to send your hubby flowers" and [b'>AGAIN[/b'> yes I sent him flowers and he was soooooo happy and proud and even his friends were saying how lucky was he to get some flowers on his birthday or when he achieved something at work. The inquiry was clear enough (not only my case but also other posts) so no need to keep guessing and reading between the lines also no need to build facts against any person and how miserable his life is from just some written lines (which maybe written in hurry or in a bad mood). Please Please Please [b'>be to the point[/b'> and write down if you have a good reasonable opinion, but if you only want to mock or make fun then its better to read and leave without writing. Thanks once again.

OP, my advice: get your children to your parents place, spend time you and your DH alone, You both need to spend time with each other as a man and a woman, not flatmates or mum and dad....just both of you this could help you both to look deep in your relationship and renew the dull stream of your lives. I don't want to take a dig at you or try to analyse you and your DH, but I believe both of you really need a time out only both of you together. Take it easy and calm down things at your home. HTH Thanks Gorobattie. I am trying to do so since some time. although they weren't successful trials, I'll keep on trying as I believe that every couple needs a new honeymoon every couple of years to get out of life stress and to get the power to go on.

I just have to say WOW i dont normaly chime in on these subjects but im pretty shocked at how dramatic everyone seems to be about the issue... i dont really have advice for the OP except to maybe talk it out, it doesnt seem like such a big deal to me that your husband would be thisd angry unless there are bigger problems and this just tiped him over the edge... i would tell him to pull him self together and get a grip.... lol I would probably be mad if my husband had gotten mad at me for falling asslep. i keep my phone on silent alot and my husband has had times where he couldnt get a hold of me and i have caused him to worry and i say sorry and he tells me thats not cool and we move on, i try to make it a point for him to always be able to get a hold of me bust sometimes s**t just happens. personally if myself or my husband fell asleep before a planned dinner we would both do as JoyceB said and laugh about it and aknowledge maybe that person is in need of some rest... and yes i have sat down just for a moment to rest and fallen asleep by accedient, as has my husband i dont think that is such a shock or needs any type of "help" and all of you jumping to conclusions about her kids and locking the door... so judgemental... geez... maybe her kids were not at home maybe there was a nanny... maybe they are teenagers... who cares not really the point of the convo anyway.... and ps whoever said "poor kids" about her locking her self in the room should probably call CPS on me because i lock my self in the kitchen and sit on the floor and eat cookies.... i also lock my self in the bathroom from time to time :) good luck OP you should probably look somewhere other than this forum for advice. Thanks Shanon, really no one would appreciate what you are in unless he is in your shoes. Appreciate your fair and reasonable reply :) I asked for suggestions that could help to get of mood however all I got was some judgmental replies that put you in even worse mood.

My DH would have panicked and smashed the door open if I was locked in and not answering. Yes, that is a good point. OP, do you do this often? I mean falling asleep and no one can access you. edited by AnonDubai on 18/06/2013 No, it was the 1st time And yeah thats a good point as well !! Maybe he was going to wait for a couple of hours before smashing the door ?

Am I the only one that doesn't quite understand this? Not that long ago, DH and I decided to eat out as we'd been busy decorating and I couldn't be bothered cooking. I went upstairs, showered and changed then came downstairs. DH then went upstairs to do the same while I sat downstairs to wait on him, glass of wine in hand. An hour went by and I wondered what on earth he was doing! Up I went and found him, crashed out on top of the bed! All I could do was laugh! I left him to sleep and cancelled the taxi we'd ordered. Then I ordered a Chinese takeaway meal. He woke up about half an hour later. He apologised for falling asleep, we enjoyed our meal at home and laughed about him doing us out of our night out! We're married 36 years. It's about give and take and forgiving each others shortcomings. :) Good for you that you could manage and didn't get mad :)

For the flowers I sent him flowers to his office before so whats the weird in that ? It's a bit weird, to be honest. Although that may just be a cultural thing. Its not about cultural thing but it was a good surprise on his birthday to find a bouquet in his office specially that he loves flowers.

Ladies Thanks for your below replies I couldn't write all details not to make the topic huge. I couldn't wakeup unfortunately because I was locking my bedroom door (for some issues with kids) and my phone was on silent since morning. It was't my intention to sleep actually b'coz I wont sleep with the door locked. And he tried to call several times but I didn't hear. As for the invitation I sent him an email just to be a funny surprise for him and he obviously liked it its not that we re talking in a formal way but it was just a new idea for inviting him that's it. For the flowers I sent him flowers to his office before so whats the weird in that ? Thanks ladies Hang on, are you saying that you had arranged to meet him OUT somewhere and not a romantic meal at home? So he was sat somewhere waiting for you whilst you slept?! Oh my word, no wonder he was angry. And you were asleep in a locked bedroom with kids alone some where else in the house? How old are they? What would have happened if there was a fire and your kids couldn't get out or get your help, or rescue you if they are a bit older and didn't need your help to get out? Also, you say it wasn't your intention to sleep, but I presume you laid down on your bed, (unless you sleep upright?) and as you knew you were tired don't you think you should have set your alarm, just in case, since this meal was so important to you? I'm sorry, but I'm really not surprised your husband is mad with you. Dear cheeky monkey , my husband was at home with kids and we were going out together after kids go to bed and for sure I have someone to look after them while We'll be out. I don't say I wasn't wrong or unblamed. However I asked for some suggestions that could help me out of that awful situation.

I would be absolutely fuming too if my husband did that to me, not to mention furious for leaving the kids unattended while being in a locked room? A rather massive apology from your side is the only thing that may eventually work here, but he will need time, a lot of time...... Totally understand his anger. Dear purple, who told you that the kids were unattended ?? Do you think I'll leave my kids unattended and lock myself up ?? Maybe you judged me because of my post but I'm not that kind of careless mom. Thanks for your reply and I think yeah it needs time for him and patience from me to get over that accidently situation.

I have no experience with that, but ... as we are leaving Dubai very soon, I am looking for a nice family for our FANTASTIC maid (filipina). I can definitely recommend her. She lived 4 years with us, was never a day sick and always doing her work with a smile. She is excellent in cleaning, ironing, ... and has a talent for cooking. Is she still available ?

've read on other forum, that this mask has no any special effect on skin and that it might not even contain the gold, it's just color (just re-phrasing what it was said on forum, not making claim) :) Thanks

Try to do something new, anything u didn't try. Take some time (let's say an hour) daily for yourself which means leave everything for ur hubby & try to relax, go out, read or just even sleep "just to break the routine" See no1 can help u unless u start helping urself "nothing is interesting unless u r interested" So try to push urself to enjoy(as a beginning), try to give urself a positive attitude like always be hoping that something good will happen. I know it's not easy but all our lives have ups & downs God bless u & good luck

There's one u an fin on car4 called jotis, you'll find it in this baking & easy mix cake section It's a cartoon with all the ingredients inside, all u have todo is to follow the instructions that will not take not more than 15 mins, no need for baking, tasty and cheap but it's a small one I tried doin it myself it takes time, ingredients & more money :) U can change the topping that comes with it by whatever else u like Good luck

I agree-if you have access to photos a photobook is the way to go-maybe in a nice large format like a 12" x12" one. I also made a photo quilt for my auntie which she just loved as she was pretty much bed ridden-so she could wrap her memories around her-and it was a great talking point with the nurses and visitors too Woooooooow Like

We did a digital photo frame - we scanned in lots of old pictures from their wedding day and then kids christening and kids wedding photos then the arrival of grandchildren etc etc and important family pictures it sits in their lounge on random so they get to see so many special photos each and every day reminding them of the 50 years they spent together. We uploaded photos from their golden wedding celebration after the event so it was completely up to date. Liked this idea & u can add a cake (actualy 2 separate cakes one is "5" & the other is "0") and decorate them with golden icing
