Agree with you Babylons, i keep all mine 4 indoors, this might be the only way to prevent such things from happening. Forget all the car accidents and dangers and how many animal die in them, now we also have to be scared of some monsters shooting the poor creatures.

Haven't seen the thread, but yes i heard stories of this happening in Dubai...Why? I just dont understand? For pleasure??? they must be really sick!! Or for what else? what can a cat do to you so bad so that you have to torture it, shoot it?? I will never understand!

Ladies, i understand, but forgive the ladies expressions, she is not a native english speaker..neither am i. Will do my best to change the add a little bit, what she meant to say its that she ok with other dogs, but best for her to get the full attention! :)

Hi Ladies, Thats Lucky!! She is up for adoption, she is a mix breed (Pure DOG), sweetest girl ever.. When left home alone she causes no disturbances. She has no aggression and is suitable to a family with children and other dogs. And she loves being pet!! :)

I have 2 right now that im fostering from FF 8 weeks old, plus 1 more of 5 days old was dropped to me last night, there were 4 kittens yesterday morning with their mother on the streets of satwa, during the day somebody went to kill 3 brothers by smashing their tiny heads with a rock and also killed the mother left them all there for people to see this ****** mess, one was left a few meters from there, and is holding on to life now at my house. God loves me if he makes it... and i have 4 of my own, FF will help as soon as a foster is available but not right now..

Oh...Thank you KellsBells... kind as usual!! I doubt would be more than 8 women...not 100% sure...but that would be as well around 10 doggies!! :D That's why i'm having a hard time finding the right place...even thought of my big balcony, it would fit the people..but my 6 cats would pack up and leave the house if i brought 10 dogs in :D

Kristina; i have been a facebook follower of yours for a while now, and i think what you do is great :) i have sent several people to you so far and all have adopted and have had nothing but great feedback..in fact the latest one was Roxy the GSD mix :)) I myself got my second dog via your facebook link as well..just over a year ago I would be very interested in helping in any way i can..i do not have a garden, but would love to help out in any way i can. :) Thank you, i have just recently joined the group, maybe only a few months ago, but its a great feeling when you see the little guys first at DM suffering and than with their new happy families, the change in them is beyond imagination. I'm glad the page was helpful to you and friends, we do get people coming forward wanting to foster / adopt and its GREAT! ;)

Seriuosly - Dubai does not need another Animal Charity. the ones dubai has are doing amazing things. Stop making this all about you and please contribute to the animal charities we have. Lots of people moving in the same direction will make a much bigger impact. By trying to set up on your own you actually detract from what K9 and Feline friends and DARC are accomplishing. Phew rant over. hhmmm, i am with feline friends and foster kittens all the time, still have 2 at my house, and we also foster street dogs and dogs from DM and find them homes!! We are not rying to put up another Charity... and what to are we suppose to do with dogs that need home and are on the street or at DM?? DM doesnt have a proper adoption center...let them be put down??

Hi Ladies, i would love to do an event for our rescued dogs and they foster parents, since we all work together to rescue them but i have realized that not all know each other, this could be fun.. im thinking of a bbq and a play date for all of us to meet for a few hrs, of course i could take care of the costs,, but where to do it? mostly all of us live in apartments, and i dont know anybody with a garden large enough...any ideas? TIA

Hi Ladies, A quick one, when your boobs start hurting, do they hurt the whole time or just to the touch? I cant touch mine since 3 days but only in the middle, the sides dont hurt at all...when i press its unbelievable pain, but doubt they are bigger look almost the same! :S Could it be?!?! 6 more days to go till im due to get my periods! Cant stop thinking about it

Kristina, thank you very much. Now I need the opening hours? Have you ever been to have a document attested and if so, do I go in person or can I send someone else on my behalf? I think they are opened only till about 1 pm ....they open at 8 usually. When i went it was to attest my marriage certificate, they asked a few questions and if someone else went instead of me i doubt they would've attested it, i guess it just depends if they are in the mood to ask questions. And Yes FarmGirl is right, the amount you have to pay is quite large!!

Just off the Maktum Bridge going to Bur Dubai (al Seef Marina Side) when you are on the big signal light (left to karama, straight is to Burjuman mall, right is towards the water) you will see it right in front of you, take a right to go around it and park behind the building.
