Isosceles is a 4 week old kitten who was rescued in a very skinny state from the green community car park. He is now beginning to thrive and is ready for his forever home. This little kitty is really fond of a cuddle, litter trained and very used to kids. If you would like to meet him, please contact me on 050 four six one 5426 or kyliejoy 4 3 7 @gmail.com thanks https://picasaweb.google.com/kyliejoy437/IsoscelesIsLookingForHisForeverHome https://picasaweb.google.com/kyliejoy437/IsoscelesIsLookingForHisForeverHome#5617331080744997186 edited by kyliejoy437 on 12/06/2011

thanks all. i am waiting for a reply from the principal, i did write to her. but as it is not the first time as i understand from other parents today, i do want it escalated to the appropriate authority. it is greenfield community school for any parents who have kids there. edited by kyliejoy437 on 15/05/2011

i know it is a really tough time when they go missing - however they are tougher than we give them credit for normally - Trish's Ruffie survived a good 6 weeks out on the streets, i have one who has done 2 week stints awol a few times. do you have posters in multiple languages with the big REWARD clearly posted? i always receive tons of help with this approach! we can help with Sinhalese here... but the advice to look close is good - look even behind the toilets (i kid you not, i had 2 kittens who were so scared they found a way to get in to the cavity at the back). encourage the neighbours to look again, particularly in their sheds etc especially if they have a dog (she may be too scared to come out maybe?). most of all, don't give up, they are tough and do show up once you have lost all reason. x

well we took 8 very lucky dogs up there yesterday - the place is just a light in a very dark night for animal welfare - well equipped, clean and staffed, and sadly very, very full if anyone is considering adopting, they have gorgeous dogs, cats, puppies and kittens all looking for their forever home. sue - re donations, i will have a wish list up on line shortly and they have plans in the near future to have a bank account opened for donations. they have a facebook page for anyone who wants to follow them.

try the Bob's bread mix - it works a treat in a machine and I usually add in some pumkin and sunflower seeds etc.... it is available at the organic store, however supply can be a little erratic (plus i think i buy everything on the shelf when we are there). my daughter is also dairy and egg intolerant, so we make it with substitutes and it is still good enough...
