12 cheque deal direct from landlord. We have a 1 year old and a two year old (3 in April!) and need an extra bedroom. 2 year old thinks it is hilarious to wake 1 year old up whether she is sleeping in the same room or in ours! Driving me crazy and causing me to be tired and ratty. Also 1 year old is shattered all the time despite having big naps whilst 2 year old is a nursery. Need to move for our sanity!! Hopefully someone can help! Forgot to mention that the landlord is fine for us to break the lease if we find a new tennant! edited by Shella on 16/02/2011 edited by Shella on 16/02/2011 Shella where are you moving too ? We've only ever lived in a villa + pool so have no comparison with a villa without pool. ;) We have a 4-bed + maids in Meadows and our average monthly DEWA bill is 2K [over the year ie less in winter, more in summer but it works out to that'>. Our pool doesn't have a chiller/heater, but does have lights/automatic filter system plus bubbles! :D One thing you might want to factor in though, if you're not going to take care of the chemicals/cleaning yourself, is pool servicing charges. We pay 2400dhs every six months for twice-weekly cleaning. Sorry I can't be of more help. Hey thanks for that very helpful !! I was hearing can be upwards of 10K !! If its around 2K that seems far more reasonable. I assume this is just to run the pump is that right ? Thanks for the info

I drove from Safa Park back home today and it took me 20mins.... Quizzme will be faster than that, I'm still a newbie to the roads... Very happy living here, very central to everywhere. New Spinneys at DSO or the one at MC... There are alot empty as they have not yet been handed over, Helena is very helpful and also lives here so knows her way around quite well. You can also try Green Heights (Mohammed). Hey Thanks for that very grateful Yes went into the new spinneys yesterday very nice . . . 20 mins that sounds good got my eldest going to JC in September !! If there is a short cut I will find it as I like a challenge !!

We would dearly love to adopt a pup/dog. Not sure where to start looking. We have a 1 year old cat who is the centre of our lives but i would really like to make our family complete with a pup/dog. We grew up as country bumkins and miss having animals around, Any ideas ladies? We have 2 kids 7 & 11 so a dog that has been mistreated might not be the best fit for us right now. My screen on my 3G is cracked. It still works and I was trying to hold out until they release the 5, but it's just getting worse. For anyone who has had this repaired, could you tell me the cost and where you had it done? I bought it in HK duty free so no warranty. Many thanks. I had my iphone fixed at a place on SZR called Cellfix its in a office in the building next to the Volkwagan Car Showroom. Hi Tasha Not painless at all . . . it was a nightmare !! When the woman from the passport office eventually called I asked why they hadn't contacted us before she read the email out I had given her and she had read it out to me it was incorrect but I saw my husbands writing on the form and it was clearly legible !! So that really messed us around. When DH eventually went to germany they still weren't happy with the picture !! Anyway apparently it has to be between 28mm and 34mm between face and chin !! Hey CP Good gracious no 3 boys is enough for me thanks very much !!! This is passport for eldest nearly 11. LL <em>edited by Lakes Lucy on 02/02/2011</em>

My Dh has asked me to post ( thats a first ) to warn everyone of the nightmare we have just had trying to get our Son's passport !! Sent it off end December they took our money on 5th Jan . . . . 30th Jan still no passport. 3 expensive calls ( they charge you to speak to them !! ) later and its processing Sir . . . . Call on 29th January from PO there is a problem Sir !! Now 10 days till DS goes on his school trip ! To cut a long story short Dh had to fly to Dusseldorf to get passport yesterday !! The problem . . . the picture . . . The man in the passport office in Dusseldorf told my DH that out of 45,000 applications 60% were rejected due to photo problems for children. So be warned !!
