Hi there, than you for your comment. I'm glad you had a successful procedure. I suppose lots of doctors have unhappy patients sometimes, it's only that this reviewer I read about had a dreadful experience and is beyond repair, which really worried me. Do you mind sharing with me what kind of work did you have done?

Hi everyone. I'm booked next week with Dr. Gabriel Saab for a revision rhinoplasty. I've been searching the net, and I've found a really bad review of him online that is dated four years ago from a very hopeless and unhappy reviewer; it sounded very scary! I just wanted to see if anyone else has done a procedure with him? I know there is one good review here, but any others? I'm hoping I can find some reassurance ahead of my surgery next week! Any input is very much appreciated, thanks.

Thanks, I tried there but they don't have them. I am just looking for the Arabic books actually, for grade 2.

Hi, thanks for all the advice. I checked with Winchester three weeks ago and they were full already. I have also checked Dubai Int'l and Al Ittihad School and they have no vacancies. There are a few good schools which are reasonably priced, but their location is past Safa Park or Trade Center so they don't transport this far. Anyone have experience with Dubai National School? It's such a big school and I wonder if kids enjoy it there, it seemed to me very academic, not enough arts subjects. Any feedback?

Well, I have to pick from those two because of three reasons. A) I need a school I can afford with similar tuition fees, b) Other schools are not accepting new students anymore and c) I need a school on this side of Dubai because of transport! Any other suggestions, please let me know. brunchgoddess, yes this is Al Worood in Green Community. Do you have any experience with it? Actually DNS have a good rating from KHDA and seemed to be very well-organized and the staff very thorough and professional. But, I didn't like the teaching style and it seemed a bit.... gloomy for the kids.

Hi drownedinthenile, which part of motor city? There is a lot of landscaping but where is there an open grassy space? I should know as I live there, but I don't walk around too much! Also, isn't it not allowed to have parties in the common area? I remember reading a circular stating something along those lines.... Thanks for your help !

Hi everyone My little boy is turning six and I'm eager to host his birthday outdoors. I'm not too high on budget, anyone have suggestions? If free of cost that would be fabulous. I could try one of the parks but I'm concerned about bad weather / guests not finding the party site / lack of parking (it's a weekend party). I stay in motor city, a place nearby would be great. Thanks a lot :)

Hi everyone I'm looking for a karate/martial arts class for my five year old boy. He's a little bit of a shy child, so I'm looking for something that is fun and not too serious. Any help please? Thanks!

Hi! Thanks na115 and CABear for your feedback. I have read the reviews on desert speak and now I'm really concerned about sending my son there. He was at Dubai American Scientific School last year which also had similar problems (unsatisfied teachers, high staff turnover). Does anyone know the teachers teaching Grade 1? As I remember when I went for a tour, they are two Arabs and one European, are they qualified, professional, caring? I don't want to have to move him after a few months! Unfortunately, I cannot afford to pay 30+ a year for his education, do I have any other affordable options in or around Motor City?
