Hi. Alot of people have also asked me about Medcare because I had my baby there. Over all it was not a traumatic experience. I just couldn't have the natural birth I wanted because babies hart took a real nose dive so I had an emergency c-section. Dr Wafa was realy supportive even though I didn't want a c-section at all in my birthplan. The midwifes were ok and the ward staff was nice. We also had teh same problem with having to share a room. When my husband went to complain because there was a 2yr old child running around in the room, they moved him and baby to a single room. (I was still in recovery room!) The only thing that annoyed me was that the nurses kept on telling me "you're a nurse you should know these things!" I may be a nurse but my field is emergency room! And they kept on trying to get me to lie down for 12 hrs after the surgery like I was an invalid. I discharged myself a day early because I was treated like an invalid instead of a mother. My midwife Cecile helped me tons more than the nurses there with my breastfeeding issues and latching.
Hi
Just came from our ENT yesterday after 3 months of test. baby is now 11 months and we used a nasal spray thus far and it seems to help. Her ears are clean so no need for grommets. We were also refered to a chiropractor that specialise in that sort of adjustments for babies. Friend did it and no more ear problems, not even a ear infection, so if the next check up is good, want to do the chiropractor as well just to make dubble sure!!
