are there any areas when i can express milk? I return to work soon, and our offices are all glass, which would make it difficult to express milk in the office! and I do not want to use the rest room. any idea if there are areas where i can express milk at the DIFC?

considering the weather here, i was thinking of getting theErgobaby performance model. but reviews say that the original model is the most comfortable. Which model do you'll use, and does the baby feel hot considering the weather here?

My LO completes one month soon (how fast does time fly!). I decided that I would like to breastfeed him for at least a year. I go back to work when he completes 3 months. I recently started expressing and introduced him to the bottle this past week. But every time i have to express, i start to panic because i worry if I'll be able express enough and that I may not be able to keep up to it for a year. For all of you who returned to work, and continued to breastfeed your children, can you please tell me how you all managed? Did you girls have a schedule on how often you expressed?

I delivered at City last week.. And it was perfect from start to finish.. Dr Elsa was my doctor.. And she is really good at what she does. Yes, she is super busy but she does make time for her patients.. And she was great with me! I had a normal delivery with minimal stitches.. The service before, during and after delivery was great too.. Everyone was really attentive and caring.. Overall, a big thumbs up for City Hospital!

I agree with Dan Lou..you need to trust your doctor. I am 31 weeks along, and my doctor is inducing labour 1.5weeks before my initial due date.. I have gestational diabetes, and although I have been taking care of my diet, my baby is a growing big. I completely trust my doctor, and knows she has the best intention. And she is well aware that I want a normal delivery!

I have been on my new company insurance for the past 7 months now, and after 2 months was hoping to start using my maternity benefit only to find out I cant!! So, I called up my insurance company to clarify what I will be covered for or not, and she tells me that the 9 month waiting period means "the member should complete 9 months on the policy and only on completion of this 9 months can get pregnant. If the member gets pregnant during this 9 months, any maternity related claim and the said pregnancy/delivery will be excluded from cover." No where on the policy instructions has that been mentioned! Is anyone aware of this. I am so disappointed. I finally had an appointment with Dr Elsa, and LOVED her, and really want to continue at City. Any idea how much the Antenatal packages cost at City?

I went in for my appointment yesterday, and everything is perfectly fine. She has now asked me to come in after 2 weeks just to see how the baby is progressing. My insurance coverage kicks in only in Jan, and I do want to make sure everything is going smoothly, but i dont wnt to overdo it!

I am currently on my employers Insurance, and my maternity related insurance kicks in Jan 2012. I got a BFP a few days ago :) For those of you in a similar situation as me, what did you do? Did you'll take a maternity package and was able to use your insurance for the whole course in the end? Or I have absolutely no choice and have to pay for the next few months myself?

Thank you for your replies ladies! Appreciate it.. Ovulation was approx on the 13th of August.. Ill go to a doc tomm morning.. I'm really nervous..n anxious.. N excited.. All at the same time! When you say ovulation was August 13, do you know this from having treatment or from charting temperatures, or from physical signs? I ask because if you ovulated at a different time than you thought, your period might not be late at all as your luteal phase should only ever vary by a day at the most. If you're 100 per cent sure that was your date of ovulation then I'd go get checked out by your ob/gyn. There must be some reason your period is late. I use an app on my phone that helps me keep tabs on whn I'm ovulating and when my periods are due..the obgyn told me this delay happens "smtimes" but that wasn't a good enough answer for me..could u please recommend an obgyn you rely on DubaiCat? Tried booking Dr Elsa, but she is apparently booked till Dec:(

thank you for your replies! pinks..the exchange rates used by banks here for transactions overseas are higher than the prevailing exchange rates...at least that has been my experience..and why carry cash? because we would like to experience t place, eat street food and the like...and I doubt they accept cc's:) shjbelle. I did check at a few exchanges here, and they do exchange from AED to SGD...

I recently bought an iPhone from the UK, and was wondering about data plans here in the UAE. The BB has the Unlimited Domestic from AED 185 for unlimited BlackBerry usage within UAE only. Does the iPhone have any plans similar to this? The only ones I come across on the Etisalat website are those that include buying the phone from them! Are you girls using the Etisalat Mobile Internet plans with your iPhones? (I have a Wasel line)
