in karama there is a shop who sells them cheaper. I got my 450d for 1500 AED less there; but no warranty ..its still working 4 years later if you walk from Bastakia to the museum and than to the souq follow the road by car; you turn left before going down to the creek. The shop was on the next corner on the right side; there is also an exchange on the right.. good luck

Rushes at that age are normal, just dont use any soap, shampoo ect. Try the mustella emollion cream, u get it in the pharmacy. My son had bad rushes too, and this was after trying alot the only thing that helped.

I would go to a private doctor and deliver in cityhospital. Just take all ur documents with you. At least you have the guaranty ur doctor will be with u for your delivery. I recommend you dr. Seema highly, she studied and worked for long time in germany and worked for a long time in dubai now. I delivered with her last year, she came from the beginning not when i was about to deliver.she was wonderfull with me and other friends too. She works at medwin on jumeirah beach road, 043955044. They accept direct billing with many insurances. Good luck with your delivery, my son was also born end of september.

In the beginning it did not work for us. Are you sure cecile said to ignore 20 min? I was asked to ignore 5 and stay with him the room for 20 min. What eventually worked was the book every child can learn how to sleep where they advice to start with 3 min leaving the room and going inside st one min and leave again .. Tht worked for us. At 8 months they are very unsecure it may take time. Our son was very crancky for 4 weeks. U may cuddle him alot in the evening talk to him sing to him go through a book for at least 45 min before you put him to sleep evtl they like to be in the cot than bec mummy is there .. Good luck edited by Layool on 09/07/2011

I went to cecile bec we were really tired, ds waking up 5 to 8 times a night. The main problem was that he used to fall asleep in his bugaboo in the morning around 8 am than beeing fussy around 11 and again around 2 .. And at 5. It was all wrong, she said he had to learn how to sleep, to put him down in his bed not the pram. It worked he sleeps two hours in the morning 8 to 10 and 2 in the afternoon 1 to 3. In the night it was more difficult. Every morning and every evening the same thing put him to bed stay 20 min and leave 5 min. Than again 20 min inside and 5 min outside. He was screaming but i was with him. It took 3 days and he would sleep after 2 min and now he sleeps without crying and if he wakes up in the night he goes back to sleep. Here the main thing wait for 3 to 5 min, they settle by themselfs.. It works at 9 months he is finally sleeping from 8 to 6.30 pm. The second one is on the way and its really important to get rest. It did break my heart to hear him crying for 5 min. But i was right there and it did not take longer than 3 days. I have friends who were doing what cecile adviced them to do and they were sleeping from 7 to 6 from 3 months or less only breastfeeding. Her supply never went down and she is still breastfeeding at 10 months. I think cecile looks at every baby and tells you than what to. Hopefully the second one is a bit easier :-) ahh one more thing, no more sleep 4 hours before he goes to bed.. This way he is really tired.. edited by Layool on 06/07/2011

Hallo H.K.A. I m not in shock :-) I just hope DS will walk by the time the newborn will be there :-) But I m concerned how long i can actually breastfeed him .. as of now, I could not replace a single meal yet. He is eating solids, but never enough to replace a meal. layool edited by Layool on 20/05/2011

i researched a bit and apparently its a phase from 18 to 20 weeks and can take up to 5 weeks. Baby get unsecure, unsettled are hungry again ... I go to sleep at 10.00, so at least I dont look like a Zombie in the morning at 6.00 am .. grrrrr He hardly sleeps during the day .. 2 x 20 min. and 2 x 45 min. By the time I try to sleep he is awake again... So i hope when he gets solids at 6 months, I get to sleep a bit more.. Formula is not an option for me

i changed to pampers premium and the diaper rush went away. We had pampers from Europe, once I used the pampers here, he got diaper rush. Maybee he is sensitive. I also have a cream called penaten. Its great.
