I know I'm a little late, but just wondered how your meet up went? I am moving to Dubai from Scotland in 3 weeks and would love to meet up with you for a coffee or something. I'm in my early 30s with a little girl who is 20 months. Sorry for the late reply! My container arrived and I have been very busy getting my villa sorted. We met up for a coffee and are meeting up for lunch on Tuesday. I must say it's nice to meet others in the same predicament. What date do you arrive? Where will you be living? We can plan to meet anywhere to suit you. Let me know when you arrive. If anyone else wants to meet up, let me know. All seems ok now though! If you have another coffee date after today I would love to join if the offer is still available. I will likely have to take my toddler, however if it's a Friday or Saturday my husband will be home to look after her. We arrive in Dubai on Thursday night and we'll be staying in a hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road for the next month. Leanne ?

Thanks for your reply pinks! I'll get on the search function right away, but really appreciate you taking the time to reply...! haha you are right - I don't know why I'm concerning myself with Ramadan etc right now but I'm a bit of a planner, like to get everything straight in my head! The heat is my biggest concern, especially having a toddler, but it wont be too long until it starts cooling down I guess, so I'm focusing on that for now. And then come next summer we will be settled and I will hopefully be able to prepare a little better.....wishful thinking?! Thank you again for your help :-)
