Thank you all for your replies. I was leaning more towards le creuset, but after some reasearch on some cookware forums (yes, they exist ;)I have decided Staub. Mainly because of the darker interior, moisture locking lids and heavier make all together. Told ya ;-) Staub is soooo good. You can buy quite a lot of it on eBay too....though make sure you get the certificate of authenticity with it. Happy Cooking! In another thread , i saw someone said its available in al diyafa in al quoz for wholesale price, im wondering where is the exact address for this place as i couldnt find on google.thank you.

At the moment I'm using the Institute Esthederm "No sun" spf 100 and Skinceuticals Physical Defense SPF 50. The skinceuticals is more fluid and takes less time to absorb. Both are mineral-only sunscreens and the best I've tried of this kind. Lancome do one but it's very shiny and the clarins one is really pinky-white. Both the Esthederm and Skinceuticals do have a white cast which is fine if you have fair skin but otherwise it might show. In this case then try 'Invisible Zinc' which really is invisible and can be ordered online. I wear a separate moisturiser, the clinique DDML (yellow one) Thanks for that, the products you use sound like what I am looking for. Do I order all these online or are they sold here? And what site do you use if I may ask? Thanks again! They are all sold here, but the Skinceuticals one I like is sold out - they only have the Mineral Defense not the Physical Defense (nearly the same product anyway). La Roche Posay have a physical sunscreen as well but I've not used that one I ordered it off US ebay and got it shipped through my shop+ship, it works out much cheaper. I paid about 105aed for the bottle, can't remember how much it was in Dubai Mall Boots but at least 180 hi quite interest topic.invisible zinc is the product name or the color name ?im thinking of buying online as i have not very fair skin just want to make sure

Hi Ladies , can some one recommend whether anodized or stainless steel is healthy and long lasting.I need to change all my nonstick pans and would like to know the suggestion.i recently checked tefel annodized and also they had in stainless steel.can some one please suggest which is good or any other brand.thank you I would go cast iron (with enamel coating) or copper. They are expensive but I don't trust the others. I think stainless steel is okay - it has been around for years and years with no documented side effects. Thank u tru blu can u please let me know a brand as well and from where I can buy.thank u

For the mug cake: 1 scoop Whey Chocolate Protein powder or 2 tbsp almond or oat flour then add 2tsp cacao powder for chocolate flavor 1 egg white 1 tsp baking powder 2 tsp coconut flour (this is very important for texture) 3-4 tbsp water or milk of choice Mix altogether in a mug, put in the microwave for 45 secs or more, depends on your microwave just as long as it doesn't overflow. Then top with fruit of your choice and any nut butter. I always topped mine with peanut butter and coconut oil combo, heated in the microwave. Less than 200 calories for a cake and very healthy. :) Thank you so much.its soo nicfe. i should try but i would like to ask which whey protein you use and the brand? i need to include in my diet as i started my excersise and heard it good .How do u use it daily I use Bluebonnet Whey Protein Isolates available here in Dubai. It's gluten free and 100% natural. You should definitely incorporate whey protein in your diet especially after you workout for muscle recovery. Thanks a lot.from where do u buy? is it in good health?

Try this, just shampoo using your usual shampoo and after that take your conditioner put the required amount to a cup and add 1-2 teaspoons of baking powder and mix it and apply to ur hair(not to sclap) as u do conditioner and wash it off.it can calm the grease and it will look fresh for 2-3 days.

Agree with the shampooing-twice gambit, but when you use expensive shampoo, it can get pricey. ;) That said, I recommend Kerastase. I've used it for years -- shampoo and conditioner and occasional leave-in 'treatments' too -- and it's worked like a charm. Don't be fooled into NOT using conditioner; it won't make your hair more oily but will restore the 'good' moisture back into it. PS. I'm not sure how old you are, but changes in environment and increase in age do result in having to adopt a different shampoo schedule. In my 20s, I had really 'greasy' hair and I was washing every day, but now in my 40s? Once a week with no 'oily' issues. Hi which leave on treatment u use?

My youngest son has just finished at EC and he made many friends of many nationalities. There was no discrimination. It has been lovely to meet all his friends and he has made long lasting friendships. can you kindly let me know do they have a very long waiting list.do u have any idea?Im planning my kids for grade3 and grade 1 in 2014-2015 are you satisfied with their education system and the extra curriculam activities.?are the parents get involve on the daily basis like do they send a diary or any sort of comunication with parent and teachers. Apperciate your feed back.thanksthank you so much I can only speak for the Secondary School but communication between parents and teachers is good. The pupils have a diary which is signed each week and any comments are written in the book. Responses to any problems - academic or otherwise has been prompt and quickly sorted. Sorry but no idea about waiting lists. edited by Ice Maiden on 21/08/2013

I made a healthier version of sheperds pie tonite for dinner. Family and friends loved it. Thought i'd share. A little bit different from the original recipe but very healthy. Stuffing: 1lb lean ground beef preferably organic 3 tbsp gluten free soy sauce or more depends on your taste 2 tsp tomato paste 1 cup peas 1 cup carrots 1/2 cup corn Pinch of salt Half of onion Topping: 3-4 pieces of sweet potato 1 cup soy milk or almond milk 1/2 cup fat free cream cheese Boil water in a pan and steam the sweet potatoes. You can boil the sweet potatoes but it takes some of the nutrients. Steam is much better. While waiting for the sweet potatoes to be soft and ready to mashed, saute all the ingredients for stuffing. Once cooked transfer to a baking dish. Mash the sweet potato and combine all ingredients in a bowl. Topped it to the stuffing put in the oven and bake for 20mins at 150C. Enjoy! I have a recipe too for a mug cake for late night cravings. Taste like real cake but healthified! :) Thank you will try definetly.is the other receipe mud cake?

Ladies please tell me when should I start worrying about school for my 2.5 year old? I'm confused now. I don't drive and I live in burdubai. So No school near by .and the closest is oud mehtha and I'm considering Gems winchester school dubai. I'm planning to send him for a nursery for FS-1. And start school from FS2. But how can I secure a place for him in FS 2? Is It possible??is there any guaranteed nursery in burdubai/mankhool area which a school straight away take for FS 2 ? And I prefer he starts school from grade 1 and stay in the nursery for both the years. But will nurseries keep him after four years?and am I taking a risk by not starting school from FS1? Won't he get a place at school for FS2? the best is to start the school from FS1 when he completes 3 years or some schools takes admission only when they are 3.5 years.just decide which school u need to send and get enroll him from FS1.Its very hard to get in to school from FS2 or grade 1 as they take only if they have seats.so best to start from begining

I went there for my high school years (Year 7 till Year 11) and I loved it. Most of the students are from the UK (like 80%) and then a mix. I didn't see any racism or discrimination while I was there, I'm from Pakistan, and most of my friends were a mix of British, Australian, Indian, Sri Lankan etc etc. The facilities are great, it's not as big as the other schools but there were alot of activities for us. I attended 1997- 2001 so of course it might have changed by now, but in my time it was a fantastic school. Hope your kids like it there as much as I did :) Thank you so much.I hope they will like it.My main concern was racism.thanks for your input
