In the same compound, you should try out book Munch... rather than a book store, it is actually a cafe.. where food is incredibly delicious and cheaper than pantry cafe! also, you can borrow books to read them during your stay

I did not know how to sponsor my maid... so I used an outside PRO company called Al Taresh... Cost was very cheap in comparison to the time and labour it would have taken me to do it myself...

Try out the archive cafe in Safa park! it is very nice and kids can play inside the park! Go for their French bread... so delicious

If you are in a hurry, why don't you try to contact agencies proposing nurses for babies or elderly? Rochester is one of them and they can send you live-in nurse... It will be probably expensive... but at least you will have a solution that is quick and legal.. and it will be on a temporary basis... until you find your maid... As finding a maid to sponsor, is a long process

Public holidays are for everyone, maids included... So either you give her needed days off or you pay her for additional working days instead
