We went early March this year, it was cold and raining but it was beautiful. Lovely to be rugged up. Was even better to be in the gorgeous coffee shops and have hot drinks and yummy bread, cheeses and vino! Took DH for his credit card, which was smoking by the time I had finished. Would love to go with a friend.

Its a 6 step program that you use morning and night for 18 weeks then you go on maintenance phase. Each product is listed am or pm, so its easy to use. It is however harsh and your skin does peel but it gets down to the deep layers and brings the pigmentation to the top of the skin (thats what the manufacturer says). More products are used in the morning than the evening and you must always use sunscreen even when you finish the program. You use the Retin-A in the evening with a blender. DH had a pigment spot on the side of his face which had previously been lazered but came back, after two weeks of Obagi it was gone. I have hormonal pigmentation on my face which lasered a few years ago in Oz, but I was very sceptical about getting a good practioner here so I searched for an alternative and came up with Obagi. I did loads of research and read the good and bad reviews so I knew what the process would be like. My pigmentation has gone but I am still very vigilant with the sunscreen. The difference between the laser and the Obagi is that the laser is instantaneous and it also brings more collagen to the skin (well I thought so), Obagi is a longer process and you look sunburnt for the first few weeks! I have had so many compliments about my skin I am very pleased with the product and will continue to use it. I buy my products on line in the US, its much cheaper.

Its great, I used Obagi for pigmentation and it made a huge difference, I am on maintenance now so only using the Retin A every second day but using the lower strenght rather than the higher one as the program makes you peel like a snake, literally.

I use the 0.025% and I get it from Bin Sina at Festival City. Are you using it with the Obagi program?

Dogs that are on a lead with responsible owners are not the problem :) it's the owners who let their dogs out with maids/helpers ....they don't clean up after the dogs: (......Actually the bigger problem at the park is the maids and kids......... They seem to be taking over the park and the mess they are leaving with all the litter include dirty nappies left lying around its disgusting :(.... I so wish there was a like button! There is so much rubbish, toys, rocks that are left over the running track. Last Friday night a family who had a party in the park and got up and left all their rubbish metres away from a bin. Who did they think was going to pick it up after they got in their cars and drove off. When walking our dog last week we had to ask a group of maids to pick up their rubbish they left in the park. They reluctantly picked up the plastic bottles and food wrappers after we asked multiple time. We walk the track and we do it responsibly, dog is close to the gardens never close to others using the track, he is on a tight leash and we pick up after him and other dogs as well. Just a few irresponsible people will ruin it for everyone.

I am a qualified Company Secretary from India and I passed CPA exams from USA (certification is still pending). :) If you mean Chartered Secretary, as in a resource for advice for a board of directors and a corporate advisory, then you should check out efinancialcareers website for the gulf, they often have roles there although they are usually looking for legal qualifications in conjunction with an accounting background. A company secretary role is very different to a secretarial/office role and is reflected in the salary range which is significantly different.

I have oedema as well however it only affects one leg, my GP sent me to a vascular surgeon and I have had more relief than ever but OMG did he give me a good telling off because he said it could have been a DVT and I waited a week to get to him. He was furious. I dont know any doctors down your way but I would get on the web and search and just get to one of them. Please dont risk it your health, just get in to see a doctor and when you ring tell them you have swelling and if it has been a sudden onset demand an appointment today, otherwise get to a hospital. City Hospital were good for a colleague who had an emergency.

Get yourself to your GP today. Swelling is not something to be ignored and could be vascular or a result of an injury. Definitely do not diagnose yourself, your doctor will recommend the most appropriate specialist.

I would go to a salon and ask a colourist there on what is the best for your hair. I have coloured hair and I use the whole Moroccanoil range, I went on their website and check out the range and what suited then ordered the hydrating range. I had been using the treatment I had incorrectly and after doing it right my hair feels like silk. Before it was like straw. I also use Redkin or Kerastase I don't buy any shampoo from the supermarket as they just seem to strip my hair. Going lighter hair colour is a LOT of maintenance so get some really good advice from a professional.

The other thing to consider is that the XC90 has really poor resale value compared to the Nissan or the Pajero, which are much more sought after cars.

If he isn't liking it because of knots in his hair look at the tangleteezer brush. I got one for a work colleagues daughter as she was having a terrible time getting her DD ready for school. She hasn't had an issue since and DD actually brushes her own hair now. I got mine on amazon but sisters at Dubai mall also stock them.

If we incarcerate them then we, as tax payers, have the privilege of providing them food, shelter and a wage. If without reasonable doubt I totally agree with the one shot right between the goolies or the eyes. Actually for peds I would pay for the extra bullet for the goolies shot. Crimes against children and murder, the perpetrators shouldnt be given a lifetime behind bars, they should pay with the ultimate sacrifice.

I agree Amy, the Morcombes handled the whole horrid situation with dignity and strength and protected their other children as much as they could. My parents actually rang into the hotline as the composite photo of the (insert expletive) that did this resembled someone they knew. He was investigated over and over until they got the (insert expletive) that did it.

Yes saffron is horrifically expensive in Australia and the best advice is if you are going to bring anything into Australia is to declare it, if in doubt declare it. The fines can be quite substantial if you are trying to bring anything into Australia that is banned and dont declare it. Oz is an island and we like to protect our fauna, wildlife and our industry from disease and pests that could impact the unique environment and our farming industry. If you do buy saffron make sure that it is commercially packed and definitely declare it. Here is a website that you can use to check on customs when travelling to Oz. Alternatively watch a couple of episodes of Border Security, its hilarious how many people get caught and fein ignorance when they are caught. http://www.customs.gov.au/webdata/resources/files/GuideforTravellers-WEB2.pdf

Seriously no work will be done today as I manically look up all the weather websites and hanker around the office looking out the windows for any sight of grey clouds. I must also have a little nanna nap at my desk so I can stay up all night in hope of rrrrrrrrr...Thunder and lightning will be a plus. I think I have been here too long that I get excited about "R" and thunder.

We have had LG's for years and I always love them at the beginning and then they end up sounding like a 747 landing and i regret buying them! They do have great quick cycle options, so I would look at what features each offers and maybe google reviews on each of them.

DB, the empty carparks are the insanity of it. If they, the devlopers, didnt charge so much and the fees were reflective of market sentiment then they would actually get some revenue for an asset that is effectively distressed. Such twats...Gets me really angry. If they charged a small fee, at least they would be getting revenue, then if they made small incremental increases over the years then it wouldnt be so painful for the end user. Ours went up 2k in one year. So our carpark is effectively empty and our security guards are harrassing those who run the gauntlet and "sneak in" to park. We have over 1000 empty car parks in our across all our buildings! This includes empty retail parking. So even if they got say 2k per annum per car park it would be better than the zero they are getting at the moment.

Our's wants AED7,000 for an extra park. There is a requirement for the developers to provide X many carparks per square foot but whether they sell them with the apartments is a different thing.

If you put them on, take them off before you renew your registration. I had southern cross sticker on my car and they failed it, wouldnt let me drive it out until it was gone. They are also cracking down on tinting on your windows. I had the clear one on my front window and had to remove that as well.

I'll need to look into Moroccanoil. I'm hoping to find it here rather than having it shipped as I've had stuff missing in the post. You definitely wont find the Moroccanoil brand here, because of where it is manufactured the country is not recognised in the GCCC. You will find Argan oil though and there are quite a few threads on EW on it.

I use Moroccanoil, pretty much their whole product range (shampoo, conditioner/treatment and oil) I buy this all online and get it shipped over. I also use a tangleteezer hairbrush http://www.tangleteezer.com/ which you can get at Sisters Beauty Lounge and my hairstraightener. My hair has been the bain of my life since I moved to Dubai and I think I have spent thousands on coming up with a solution and this works for me. The nail polishes surprised me as well but I kept getting lifting nails and it wasnt until I worked with a dermatologist who tested me and said that I had a sensitivity to it. Now I dont bother with mani's, just a buff and off I go.
