I went to al baraha hospital. They told me to deposit 5000aed and all prenatal visits were like 50aed and 50aed for an ultrasound. I delivered my baby boy 2 months back and it costs us a total of aed6100 (room, medicines, delivery charges) Husbands are allowed in the labor and delivery room during your labor but not during delivery. After delivery, if all is well with baby and mother they transfer you back to the ward (with the baby) within 1-2 hours. If normal delivery, they discharge from the hospital within 1-2 days (if all is well with baby and mama). Not sure about c-section as I didn't get one. I stayed in a private room which costs AED300 per day (not bad). The hospital provided disposable underwears for mama, sanitary napkin, diapers for baby, hospital gowns for baby and mother. They feed you 5 times a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner + 2 snacks). The nurses and doctors were very helpful and friendly. Although, I did hear that they increased their prices a lot since 1 October.

I am also curious... I am delivering my first baby in 3weeks in Al Baraha Hospital. Can anyone share their experiences? Should I bring anything to the hospital with me or do they provide such necessities? Is my husband allowed to be with me during labor and delivery? Are the doctors good? Thanks in advance.
