Hi need to renew my u k driving licence . Has anyone renewed their licence recently? It's possible to do the entire process online. The licence is now linked to your passport, that's where the photo comes from. The questionaire asks for your address and how long you have lived there. I have lived here for 15 years. What should I/ could I put as my answer in order to get my licence? Thanks all

The school closures are decreed by the government or the KHDA. The individual schools will not refund any money. Think that the occasional school closures need to be added to the list of 'Only in Dubai'. There have been random closures , in the past, due to excessive rain, George Bush visiting (all of Dubai was closed) and there have always been closures due as a mark of respect when eminent rulers have passed away. We have ,on the whole, access to marvellous education for our children and life is pretty good here in Dubai.

Thank you so much for your feedback. Suzysun and pmd, thanks for your info on Vietnam, I will be travelling with my kids and would like to use a pre-booked guide. Thanks corrinad may well get back to you for contact advice. Thanks for the website TimTam, will check it out. Really useful to hear how complicated travelling could be hrt without any knowledge of Mandarin. It sounds like an amazing varied country to visit so thanks, Suzifee, I will investigate trip advisor and look for a guide and activities.

I saw Dr Sobeh in Health Care CIty for this. He also performs surgery on more serious circulatory concerns. Can't recommend highly enough.

When children are around two years old they go through a teenager phase. They suddenly realize that they are not in control of anything in their lives and want to assert their indepence. They know that you want them to eat and they are aware that they have control of their own eating. However, you must remain (calmly!) in charge of this area. You must however, try to think of some areas whereby your LO can choose. Not major stuff , but maybe when buying apples or the like "shall we choose these ones or these?" Any decisions you allow your child to make must be ones you are happy to continue with and that will not ultimately make you loose control. It's all mind games , I tell you! These two year olds were sent to try us!

Have not been in Deira city centre for a few months, however, Woolworths use to sell a dress shirt and bow tie for children. It was very smart and not too much money.

I am guessing you want advice on either of these because of your medical ins? Personally, Villa Fortuny is my first choice for all things dental. Both my Ds and myself have seen Dr Nizar for orthodontic treatment. Can't recommend him highly enough.

Whatever happens, you will get off eventually. If your little one kicks off, imagine it is just you and them on the plane. You will probably never see those frowning passengers again, after luggage reclaim any way. You must buy a magazine to put in the pocket in front of you. There is a slim possibility that when you LO dozes off in your exhausted arms that with a bit of contortionism you can hold a magazine and switch off from your journey and let you mind go elsewhere. And as my Mum says to just about everything " All this shall pass!"

You could always snuggle up together At story time , babe in gro bag and you in a sleeping bag. Tell him/her it's a magic snuggle bed or something that you think might work. Maybe just like his/her favourite character has, pile it on! Maybe if you get into a sleeping bag at afternoon nap time then your DH or helper could bring your LO in after they wake up and see you in yours and hopefully they will want to try yours out, but, oh dear it's too big! Look what I have here though! Ha ha!
