Hello ladies! i need your help! I know a lot of women breastfeed their babies and give the bottle as well. I was doing the same with my baby boy until my husbands parents came over 4 weeks ago. I stopped giving him the bottle so theres been a break of about 3-4 weeks. Now he simply refuses to take it. He sees the bottle and just seals his lips really tight. I tried everything! I expressed my milk and gave it right then so its still warm, I tried giving sweet juice just so he likes the taste and latches onto the bottle nipple, tried keeping him hungry, tried changing the nipple but nothing works. He doesn't even get to whats in the bottle. The nipple touches his lips and he closes his lips very tight. and if i trick him and get the nipple in his mouth he cries his heart out (which scares me that he could choke on it) and doesn't suck on it at all.
I really need him to take the bottle again! Any ideas u have that i can try? Would really appreciate any help. Thanks in advance! :)
can highly recommend Dr Yuilya- she is based at cooper clinic on as wasl road but delivers at medcare.
Thanks but i'd prefer to see a doc in a hospital so i can have the delivery in the same place...i know its not necessary but i just feel more comfortable :)
My doc at Medcare is Dr.Luthra, she is fabulous ....you might read and hear conflicting opinions but for me she has been godsent.
I have heard about her and wanted to go see her but its impossible to get an appointment with her!
