I'm coming to work in Doha later this month and need to get my daughter into a nursery pretty much straight away. However, I have just noticed that nurseries ask for the child's and parent's residence permit for enrolment. My employer has said we will all be on tourist visas to begin with. Does anyone have any experience of nursery enrolment requirements? Thanks.

However, for enrolment, nurseries seem to say they need a copy of the child's residence permit as well as the parent's. My employer HSAs told us we are to come in on a tourist visa and the children will have to just renew the tourist visas for a few months until we can get a family residence permit. Has anyone had any experience of what is required for enrolment or how long children's residence permits take? Thanks.
