I live in Layan Community across from SC. Any idea if the road behind SC going to Al Qudra is ever going to open up? It is currently a dead end and means driving all the way around to Global Village to get home. Just curious.

Hi I am new to Dubai and hiring a maid for the first time. I read that if the maid is here on a visit visa then they have to leave the country pending their employment visa approval? How does this work? Do I have to fly them somewhere or is there a closer place to drive?
Any help would be great TIA.
