Don't know about that, but a new company has opened in DSO, Le Solarium building, that helps with maths and works on the same theme as brain training. Yes. A qualified sham. On this I agree, there are a lot of sham qualified persons out there saying they have Masters degrees, when we all know the realities! Great choice of words lol Oh, LOL! We have had auto-correct for years, I might think one would know that a hyphen offsets autto-correct Hilarious! Sorry, I had not realised you were actually using an autocorrect! Windows operating system in 2014 does not exempt the hyphen, not that I use it but just tested to check out what you had stated (incorrectly). BTW autocorrect does not need a hyphen.

Tell your family to take your dog to another vet. Veterinary Hospital in AL Quoz, Nad al sheba or another one and I'm sure they will help or go back to your vets and ask them which tablets you should get from a pharmacy and dosage as the product is also used in humans.

Thank you for your reply. I could only come at the earliest around March next year as I have no leave from work until then. But I would love to come. My plan was to find something at not an amazing pay- just something to get me out there and live on, and then whilst I am there search for something better whilst working. Do you think this would be a bad idea? My boyfriend will be working out there and he can support me if I need any help whilst I am working the lower paid job. You are coming for your boyfriend then if we cut to the chase. You need to do your research a lot better and think about your career rather than your love life. You have a good degree, use it rather than running off to some far flung land after a distant boyfriend. Why would you study such a specific subject and not use it to build a career? Here you will be competing for a legal job with ladies who have master’s degrees coming out their ears! Have you thought about the teaching profession? You really need to think about this a lot harder and think about your future.

My OH just got this travel notification from his company - Iraq As a precautionary measure in response to intensified militant activity a temporary restriction has been placed on all travel to the Kurdistan region of Iraq. Travellers to XXX projects in Iraq must check with the relevant Security Manager or Group Security prior to making any travel arrangements. With due respect you should be or your DH asking this information of your company security and embassy. Should your DH have any concerns then he should be bringing them up with his company. The region can change daily so expatwoman in this case is perhaps not the best place to source information. Actually given that there are clearly people on here, whose DH's are working on ground there and in the security and military, it's the 'perfect' place to get insider info. Trouble is the bank are saying go to the police as it is the police whi have been paid by the card. I guess all they can do is go to them with their telephone notifications and take it from there. You have to follow procedure, it does not matter who was paid! It is a crime that needs reporting and the longer you leave it the more problems will occur for you. The police will be able to track this quickly but only if they actually know!

I’m astounded that posters’ would have a grievance with posters who no longer reside in country posting, how exceptionally shallow and small minded is that? Expat life for many is a transient way of life, personally I feel it is wonderful when posters pop their heads in every so often from other far flung lands. For posters who have been on this site longer than a cat’s whisker, some good times have been shared in the virtual world, and for some in the physical, why would anyone want to take that away? thanks for everyone's experiences and remarks. I find the whole identity thing weird these days and a bit surprising that you have to live in the land for three years to qualify as its citizen, then I do appreciate the comment from micdoc that if you haven't paid taxes there for years why should you reap the benefits. Thanks again for your experience You can live there and never have even been employed, let alone pay tax and reap the benefits!

Delighted with NAS, a huge departure from our old school and the atmosphere is brilliant. There are no car park screaming matches, no scaffolding to walk around and every member of staff seems genuinely happy to be there! I finally feel like I am getting value for money and our presence is valued, not taken for granted. Good feedback NM, were you at a prestigious school previously? DO they set or have T&G? How are you finding the academics in comparision?

Funny I read this and had to respond… I recently visited Dr Ewan and thought similar about his office staff! Although he’s a brilliant doctor. So be ware of the not so friendly rest of the office! MMM Oh that's awful, I see where you are coming from now. Have you looked at Hydrotherapy or physiotherapy specific to your needs? This may be more beneficial, esp if there is a massage element. Or even gentle swimming? You could try Sharaf DG, they have a service centre in their Times Sq branch who i have found to be excellent and cost effective at repairs for many brands of laptop. Perhaps call them and ask for a quote or take it in and have a chat with them?

Acupuncture for certain issues has been proven in the medical world to be beneficial, not every time but a % increase that cannot hurt and is worth a try (dependent on condition). However your post states you have an undiagnosed auto immune disease and from what I am reading you are trying to rectify this via diet and alternative medicine. I would urge you to be very very cautious going down the alternative route and urge you to find a diagnosis via scientifically based medicine and with that information find out which treatments are available. I have over the years lost too many friends now who have followed the alternative route either due to desperation or some belief that alternative medicine could cure and would be a better choice than scientifically based medicine. The terribly sad part is that of course none worked, one friend would have survived and not left three small children motherless had she treated her breast cancer conventionally rather than choosing alternative medicine. The cost of alternative medicine is outrageously high and often performed by people who have no formal medical training. So I would be very careful in where you source your acupuncture and research thoroughly as to whether it has actually any benefit in treating your undiagnosed condition and that you are not just throwing money away for something that may have absolutely no benefit whatsoever. <em>edited by Lolacat on 16/09/2014</em>

I have a complete phobia about getting symptoms to be honest and I guarantee I would get symptoms on the most inconvenient times i.e. in the middle of the night!!. Do all chemists stock Canestan and sell it over the counter does anyone know? Or do they only sell it based on a doctors prescription? Remember only too well traipsing to Tesco's back in the UK at 2am to go and get some!! Horrible!! LOL, yes you can buy over the counter and generic versions that do the same job.
