Get yourselves down to Satwa/Karama where a wash & blow dry is 40-50 AED and they do a fabulous job, much better than the sparkly salons in Jumeirah IMO...:) I go to Hamriya (sp) center in Deira. Not one of the cleanest places but they get the job done. I pay 120-140aed for a blowdry!!! I have long and thick hair. I think I need to cut this hair, it's getting too expensive for me.

ooooh I'll have to give that dressing a try one of these days :) tonight I made low-carb lasagna with my homemade chicken bolognese sauce... using baked eggplant slices instead of lasagna noodles :) yumm yumm :) oh that sounds delicious, something I would eat. mind sharing your recipe?

I think I need to call her. It was going so well until my MIL came to stay over and the first night she was here he cried and she went to his room and picked him up. She brought him over to me!!! Anyway I woke up the next day and she gave me this long speech to not let him cry in a dark room. Long story short, he was waking up twice at night and now he's waking up every 2 hours :( AAARRRRGGHH I can't wait till she's gone. If I can't do it again on my own, I'll have to call Cecile. I'm going on Day 5, haven't noticed changes yet. When do you actually start seeing a difference? I know it'll vary from one to another. I'm just so anxious, really want to get rid of my tummy.

Thank you, I feel so much better now. He is perky and happy and that's what matters. I'm taking control of the situation with my MIL. I told her nicely from now on I'll do the feeding lol. I don't think she took it too well. Thanks hello.kitty for the tip, cooking with butter. I shall do that from now on. I was mainly using extra virgin olive oil. I just have to except that my son is just thin.

We had Bundu khans there last week it was vile the food was cold and the place was dirty ! The falafal places inside Turkey where good yes but expensive, their shwarma sandwiches are 25 DIRHAMS!!!! will never pay that price..

I understand that there are quite a few ladies who have recently received copies ;) It would be great to know what those ladies and the ladies who have posted already think of the program and any improvements noticed so far. Also what are you doing to keep your motivation up and if you have a reward planned when you have achieved all 30 days. I have started Day 1 today thanks to you Cyclone T and didn't think it was too bad. In the end I was pulling myself to finish the jumping jacks. I'm already feeling my legs are sore, so that's a good sign. To keep my motivation up hmm don't know, I'll just keep reading this thread for motivation. My reward is to fit into some skinny jeans and stop hiding under my abaya hehe..

I love the L'oreal mascara. Not sure about the name but the color of the container is golden and the brush has no hair on it . It looks more like a comb. The result is amazing... I use that too and really like it, it's called the Loreal Volume Million Lashes. I like the comb too, doesn't clump makes my lashes seperated and extra long. I think it's pretty expensive though close to 90aed. I have my sister coming from the US soon told her to bring some for me, their only $7.00USD.

My first baby took about 6 months. Then we were trying for another got pregnant right away then I had a miscarriage. We tried again 2 months later and I was pregnant again.

DubaiCat I also want to stop breastfeeding, but I can't even get him to drink 2 oz of cow's milk. He's 10.5 months old. My little guy is the same age. Is it okay to give cows milk at 10.5 months? I always thought it was 12 months but maybe things have changed since DS1 Since I was planning on weaning him off my boob by 12 months, I give him 2 oz so he can get used to the taste. Most of the time he doesn't finish it. He loves yogurt and cheese so that's a big plus :)
