I have 3 children and no Xbox (yet). My children asked for one when they played with one at a friend's house, but I just tell them when they are older they can get one. That was 2 years ago lol. They forgot about it since.

I see them in white in many flower shops. The flower shop on Wasl Road next to the Reef Lebanese Bakery have them. I believe they're 5 to 7 dirhams a piece if you buy more than a dozen. Shop around and bargain.

My son plays football with Go Pro Sports. He does it at school. I'm sure there are other locations. I think they are very good. He did one term with them (knew nothing about soccer) and has excelled so much. We registered again this term. He loves it.

I'm not sure if they have what you are looking for but Nazih is also on Sheikh Zayed Road next to Crown Plaza. Also one in the Al Barsha Mall.

That helps me Adventurer. I'm currently writing my CV. I have a question. I've been a stay at home mom for 8 years. I have a degree in Education and only worked for a year in that profession. In retail for a couple years before that. Should I include my work experiences even though it's many many years ago lol. I guess if I don't I won't have anything to show. I'm applying for a substitute teacher/teacher assistant.

Yes they can wear any colored sneakers and backpacks. My daughter (7 yrs) gets one math sheet for homework and 2 reading books at her reading level every day. Once a week, she brings home her Arabic folder. One sheet (a repeat of what they did in class) and 2 books at her level.

Bump! They got a deal on cobone today.. Can anyone recommend this center? I'm also interested in getting Lasik. I was going through past threads and read you've already done it with Atlanta Vision. So what happened? Does it not last?

Which Choitrams has the sriracha sauce? I've looked at the one across Safa Park for the last couple of months and it's not there.

Hi Lulee, this online shop is based in Dubai so delivery may be quick, and they have a set of Eid cookie cutters: http://cakebox.me/seasonal/ramadaan-eid-cookie-cutter-stencil You're a star. I ordered the stencils and will receive them on Sunday. That'll give me some time to test them. I think I'm going to do them myself and package them nicely in clear bags for each student.

Have you seen any around (ie lantern, mosque, moon, sheep etc). I only have a star cutter. I know I can get them online but I prefer to purchase in store. Or maybe stencils if those are easy to find. edited by LuLee on 19/09/2014 edited by LuLee on 19/09/2014 Hi what I have done is baked some cookies and wrote Eid Mubarek on them on Fondant That is a very good idea, but I don't have a steady hand plus my writing is not so great.

Thanks Ladybird will have a look. Hi Apricot. I was going to bring these cookies to class for the kids to decorate. I don't think I'll get it in time if I order online. Hmm now thinking of where I put my maamoul mold. I might need to make those instead.

Thank you. I've tried Daiso in Oasis. They didn't have much. Also looked in Tavola in Jumeirah, not much there. Will look around at the others this week. I hope I find something before Eid.

Yes, Skynet are excellent, and probably the cheapest you can find but just as fast and door to door like the big names, I use them all the time, 3kg to the US will be AED 245. If you check DHL and Fedex you wil find their rates many times more expensive. www.skynetworldwide.net I have one question do I have to pay duty? I'm sending clothes. Will the receiver have to pay duty?

I go to the same place Buddha suggested. Its called European University College (formally Nicolas & Asp University College). Total cost for my treatment plan is 7000 dirhams. Make sure you ask for a discount. If I paid all in full I would've saved another 500 dirhams.

I asked my DH and this was his reply, " I disagree with Mother's Day concept because they should be appreciated everyday and a surprise gift, flowers or even a hug saying I love you mum means more to her than a date on a calendar to remembered by. Same applies to valentines day and Father's Day for that matter. We should respect, love and appreciate each other everyday and cherish those moments. Don't need a calendar to remind him." Do you all agree?

Like below best place to buy Islamic books is at the DLD. The one in Satwa is also a DLD. That's where I get all the Arabic workbooks for my kids, Prophet story books, Islamic books for myself.

Umm Suqquim. I looked up some of the other places, but they didn't specifically mention it. Its best you go to the centers and ask. I know JILC mentioned below do classes on Sat mornings. Al Manar near Bowling Centre do classes on Friday mornings. Al Huda also Saturday mornings.

Daza can you please share with us the hotel that allows 4 children? I'm looking at the Hilton resort and spa and in one of the rooms it has 2 queen beds. I'm wondering if we can get away with that. Would they allow us? Is the room small for us?

Yes I meant interconnecting rooms. I can't find those when I do a search. I usually see 2 adults and 2 children. Do I need to call and ask for interconnecting rooms? Thanks Sarah, will contact her.

I think the best place to meet people in victory heights is at the parks or pools or through the school. I also love going to the public parks - Barsha park 2 is lovely and small for little ones, as is Safa Park 2. Mirdiff City Center also has a big playgroup in the magic planet area - we spent loads of time there when mine were little. Hi can you please tell me where Barsha Park 2 is. I've been circling Barsha looking for this park and get tired from looking and end up at Barsha Park, which is still a lovely park.
