Hi, and here's the fourth :) I had root canal done in SA on one of my top upper teeth and to my dismay it was turning brown after a couple of months, started to really bother me and i was beginning to be ashamed of my smile. Not sure is this is the same issues that you have?? Anyway,I recently went to the dentist for my wisdoms and he pointed out that it was discoloured, he said he would be able to fix it without any of your mentioned procedures. He drilled a hole into the tooth and put a bleach iagent or something nside, i had to leave it for about a week, at first i was skeptical but OMG!! what a difference, the tooth looks perfect now, its whiter than all the others. What are your main concerns regarding the tooth? where did you have the internal bleaching done? in dubai or SA?

thats my problem too. just below the gum is darker than normal teeth and the whole tooth just has different colours all over. again, dont think of something horrendous, but when you have nice looking white healthy teeth and one that just doesnt fit in, it spoils it. and its in my face every day edited by Magyera on 15/08/2011

hello ladies, I’m super frustrated over the contradictory advices I’ve been getting recently on what to do/not to do regarding dental work. A few years agao a dentist successfully fcked up my front upper tooth. As a result I had to do root canal and from there onwards, all I had was annoyance with that tooth. The looks would obviously would not matter if the tooth was is the back. But its in the front and the coloration that comes with a dead tooth shows. Nothing horrendous, but enough to spoil what would be a really nice smile. Anyways, I spoke with 3 different parties regarding what to do about it. 1. Dentist number one: if you want the aesthetics of that tooth fixed, you need to put a veneer layer on at least 3 other teeth. Putting veneer or crown on only one will look nice 1st, but will show in an odd and not at all nice way later 2. Dentist number two: I’m familiar people in many countries are prompted to put either veneer or crown on multiple teeth, even when they don’t need to. Those dentists only care about your money, not your teeth. The best way to fix that one is to have a ceramic crown (no metal inside) on that one single tooth. It will look natural and not true it will look different in colour than the rest 3. Friend who has crown in his mouth: putting crown on one single tooth situated in the front means the real teeth and the fake on will react differently to food and drinks and except the very beginning, having a fake tooth will show and it will not look nice. If you don’t have to, don’t do anything How on earth am I to know who to listen to? All 3 make some good points. So here is my question: those of you who have either crown or ceramic veneer covers, what is your experience? Does any of you have crown on one tooth only ? (should be front to be relevant here) are you happy with it? if not, what are you not happy with? Any cosmetic dentist in the house?

so this is always on the receptionist's plate to do (she wont be there tomorrow) and i have never placed an order for 40 adults + 10 (under 10 years of age) kids, and I'm wondering if this food will be enough or not... we are ordering from zaatar - I actually just called them up to make sure the food will be ready on time tomorrow - and this is what I asked for: 2 servings of halloumi sticks (1 serving is 4 pieces) 2 servinings of chicken escalope (1 serving is 4 pieces) 10 mini pizzas (1 pizza is the size of a palm) 2 large fattoush plates 9 manakeesh (each will be cut in 2 decent size halves) 8 wraps (each will be cut in 2 decent size halves) 4 pizzas (each will have 8 slices) plus we will have coffee, juices, soft drinks and dried fruits for the kids will this be enough? did i order too much?

yep, have a valid UAE one. and yes, this is my dillema. at home id just go and take some lessons with a pro. but here i hear too many people telling me how useless the instructors are. im beginning to think that the only benefit of driving with an instructor is that i would know he/she can take control of the car if i fck up and that would give me a bit of time to get into the habbit of driving. i also need to refresh my knowledge of the rules on the roads.

Go to the gym, get a makeover, have your hair and nails done. Make sure ex sees you somewhere with your fab new look after a few months. [b'>Let his jaw drop and look at him like he is dirt and so not worthy of you![/b'> i wish my mind worked like that

long line of arguments and fights ended with no more talking to each other. thing is, once the storm calms down, even though i know what went wrong or just how badly a fight felt, the nice things always seem to surface and thats when the pain starts. you stop thinking about how much he hurt u or how much you hurt him and all u see is his eyes smiling at u, out of the blue his smell is in ur nose even though u havent seen him in weeks, u want to forget and forgive eveything just to have him around again...

get over somebody? Im not just talking about numbing your senses, distracting your attention. I’m talking about being able to think of that person in case you do, without pain, without wondering what you could have done differently, without wondering if it’s better that its over, without blaming yourself for eveything, even for what wasnt your fault...

what makes more sense? - calculate precentage of annual revenue - allocate a budget per office - allocate budget per head - allocate budget per departments - allocate budget directly linked to individual salary - lets say the company invests X % of Joe's annual pay in his training also what procentages make sense? I know some companies go up to even 5% of their annual revenue

i wouldnt mind a teacher not being native english speaker, as long as they spoke fluent english without a thick accent brought on from their 1st language. i think a lot of people brought up here in dubai could qualify well, simply because many speak excellent english but without an accent you can actualy identify. if my kid came home sounding like indian/filipino/arabic/russian, etc or mispronouncing words because of a teacher's not good enough english, i would surely not be happy about it.

well, i cannot really take this up to anybody. my direct boss is the global HR head. she is an amazing woman in many ways and is backing up her team. however i noticed lately that when it comes to actually standing up for us, she is weak. her boss is the COO and the person questioning me. AND the same person who figured that a dinner out (not a fancy one either) worth of increase is something I would welcome. im seriously thinking of rejecting it and telling them to keep the damn money. not like it will make any difference whatsoever to my income

Have fun! Enjoy life as that 20-something year old again. Blow all caution to the wind, have fun, accept invites to anything and everything and have a blast. music to my ears :P hahaha but see, thats the thing. maybe its just that i dont know any better (since all my time in Dubai has been with one man), but men here are no good. when i think of all the goodies you can find in europe...

i might be making up excuses for myself...age difference, religion, different background...did I tell you he was Arab (not local)? :) I have a thing for Arab men, but I see so many other women in my shoes falling for them and after that falling flat on their faces...simply because of the different mentality....I'm european and very liberal in many aspects of life. nothing has happened yet and my guess is nothing will for a while. he is not the pushy type at all we are just friends and though I'd be disappointed if he suddenly vanished, i would not be devastated. its just that feeling sneaking under my skin that this could turn into something more than we have bargained for. if it does, after several years spent with one man, the idea of another man touching me just scares the sht out of me :)

if i end an interview in 20 minutes, thats not good. thing is, a proper interview goes 2 ways. you interview the candidate and they interview you. after i ask whatever im interested in, i present them the company and i also leave room for their questions. 20 minutes are just not enough for that. but than again, it depends on a lot of things like: - what job u applied for - who interviewed you - what stage of the interview were you in (we interview every candidate for a min of 4 times with different people) - what does the company do and what sort of recruitment processes they have - was it with the company itself or a recruiting agent
