On the same note, may i also get some common sense advise on how to break in a new maid. I like to start her off with cleaning. But then if go from room to room explaining dusting, 'remove everything from the table, then clean the top put back everything'. (I always get these kinds). Then when do I get to do my work, fetching, the shopping, the cooking and ironing? This makes me very cranky. How would you ladies suggest one goes about it?
