I think you're being 'overly concerned' for no reason. As you say with 15 children in a class, it's hopeless to try and keep everything spotless all the time as children are just simply messy.
Maybe you are right.. thank you for your input .. kids will be kids

True to that , am all for playing in the mud.. but having water stations put in and look terriby dirty is not my idea of healthy play.. kids this age still have their hand in their mouth with and without reason lol... As well as teaching kids that you clean you after you eat which is what i teach my lo. But the classes i have seen were filled with food crumbs all over the place...this is what worries me most.. on the other hand having one kid in a room is onee thibg and having 15 is a whole other story and since he is my first ..i dunno what to expect hence my question.. thank you for your reply xx

Hi Ladies, In planning for the delivery of my 2nd baby (but this will be my first baby in Dubai) I originally intended to deliver at either Mediclinic City Hospital or Al Zahra Hospital. However after reading many of the posts on expatwoman (most are older posts), I've heard there are lots of extra/hidden costs above the "price of the delivery package". I know the things listed as exclusions (epidural, forceps, etc) are not included but can anyone who has recent info (2016-2017) comment on how much extra costs beyond the package price I should plan for? And even better what these costs are for? Thing is I may or may not have insurance at delivery time (my current insurance which covers delivery up to 7000k will expire before my delivery). So I will either pay to renew my insurance and pay the costs above the 7000 delivery limit, or buy a delivery package at these hospitals. Help please!!!!!! my SIL just delivered a week ago at sulaiman al habibi hospital. their delivery pkg was about 13k or 14 k .. which didnt include a hearing test for the baby and some blood tests as well as the epidural. they have also upgraded the room. they ended up paying about 5k extra for all the extras. Your best bet would be to check with the hospital you would like to deliver in. They can gice you a full breakdown of all the possible/hidden costs that you might incurr. wishing u a safe and happy delivery ?

Hey, I was just wondering about something. Although I have a big carpet my 5 month old keeps going to the hard tiles in our home. It's not so safe for him. I put pillows on the edge of the carpet to prevent this but he just slides them away. I was thinking about buying some kind of baby box or otherwise some kind of fence, but I don't know where to get this. What do you use to make your babies play safely? You will find loads of baby gates and safe play areas atbaby sbop .. however you can also get play matsthey are shock absorbent kind of like made or rubber and u will feel more at ease ?
