We just come back and quite impressed! Food stalls reasonably priced, area with bouncy slide etc for kids, plenty of seating, nice atmosphere would recommend it!

Anyone know of toddlers play area open early? Most seem to open with shopping centres at 10am. Thanks

Al Badia golf course is in Festival City, brunch is set ouside with table and chairs or cushions and rug on the grass. Food is 'ok' but very relaxed atmosphere beautiful views of golf course, popular with families.

Hi ladies, I'm due end of September with first baby and staying here! Seem to have had big growth spurt over past couple of weeks! Am delivering at American hospital.... anyone signed up for ante-natal classses yet? AH classes are over a weekend but that may be a bit intense for us :\:

We've been a couple of times over the past few months with visiting relatives and would recommend it. It's very good value at 199 Dhs for 2 people. The salon restuarant is in the lobby, so maybe not as indulgent as other places, more suited to 'nice treat' than 'celebration event' but the food was lovely and staff charming!

There is a British counsellor called Joanna at the Manchester Clinic (on the beach road) who specialises in drug and alcohol issues for adults and I think teenagers. Might be worth trying her for some advice. Best of luck! edited by Melia on 03/01/2011
