Hi SS1979 - just saw this msg. actually i was lucky enough to get my bfp the first month without anything. seems alot of docs were very quick to shove alot of medication down me. do you know if you ovulate naturally? fwiw - if we had gone down the IVF route (which we were planning in a few months) we would have gone to DGFC. Friends of mine speak very highly of dr pankaj also Best best of luck with it all - God willing your time is soon!

so im 6 weeks now and saw the heartbeat yesterday :) which was pretty incredible. But im still driving myself crazy with nerves - i had a cramp/pain/ache in my groin last nite - managed to freak myself out. I keep googling and reading all these sad stories and im sure im not doing myself anygood at all!!! I read that the miscarriage rate drops to about 5% after you hear the heartbeat? HELP need some words of encouragement lol I know its in Gods hands...need to just practise what i preach now..

used to use marhaba for parents - recently switched to ahlan after some recommendations - and my parents and other guests all commented on a massive improvement in service. I get the superior service - not sure what its called - gold/platiumum etc... strongly recommend ahlan!

Hi Manubhadauria - what are you worried about exactly? having low vit D or taking supplements? the majority of people living in dubai are vit d deficient - because we wear sunscreen which blocks us aborbing vit d from the sun. Also - mideast/indian skin absorbs it less efficiently than white skin ... Im also pregnant and taking vit D supplements...

abby_n_christina - yes agreed - feel guilty because my husband wants to tell so many people and ive sworn him to secrecy - hope i can relax and enjoy post week 12! StrawberryPenguin - sure what would you like to ask? I didnt end up going down that route.... altho it had been recommended because i supposedly had pcos - even though all hormone tests came back perfect... as much as i want to blame the docs - i would say my impatience was partly to blame...as i wanted results and fast! and we got pregnant finally 2 months after we stopped clomid/gonal f injections..

Morning ladies - yes yes it's positive :) and I know I should be screaming at rooftops ( as those of you who've followed my posts know how desperate I've been to conceive) I don't know why I'm being so negative and I realise my initial thread was gibberish lol......I guess am just nervous and my period pain cramps are making me panic that all is not well - I've read it's normal but I'm still freaking out!!

Thanks DubaiCat Ok thats given me comfort -and i feel a few other ovulation symptoms coming on :) fingers crossed! We have discussed charting before - and i even bought the book - i just find it quite difficult because temp can be misleading for so many factors...and u only know youve ovulated afterwards right?

8 eggs!! thats ridiculous!! did they get pregnant? Thanks Sunglow - concieve (pankaj) is one of the ones i tried - but its so far away and everytime i went i was made to wait for at least an hour - which is tough when working. If however i heard may people success with him i would still consider it. They also open over the weekend which is great, Dr Mohammad at DGCF is also a ridiculously long wait - however they are much closer which makes it easier. But close friday saturdays which is a pain... sooo difficult!

hi LIL - i think ive decided to go with Dr Mohammed because sharjah was just too hard for me - i dont doubt for a minute Dr P's abilities - in fact - he may even be the more experienced of the two. You are welcome to email me on melindaq78 at yahoo dot com

Hi Tonti - i have been through this twice - unfortunately didnt work for me and i am now trying IVF. It is howver quite a simple process - and you may or may not use stimulants to help you increase your follicles/ovulation chances etc. Have you identified what the problem is?

i did it with Dr Fakih...found him a little agressive. so i am now trying to decide between him Dr Mohammed or trekking it to Sharjah for Dr Pankaj ! I would recommend you shop around and see who makes you most comfortable.

hi LIL - i truly wish i could help you - but i seem to be going through the same issues myself right now! Whether to just bite the bullet and go for it (and not waste anymore time) or am i being too impatient and should i try naturally a little while longer. And this thought process changes about 10 times a day! i think one of the deciding factors for me has been - if i wait another 2-3 mnths until i go for IVF - i am going to be obsessing about it for the next 2-3 months. and seeing as ive been obsessing for past few months - perhaps the best solution is to just go for it? Also - although there were options for us before IVF - like IUI (which ive tried) and just follicle stimulant drugs - not sure if you have tried anything yet? - but i found these had such a big effect on me - and they are such a big part of the IVF process that i am starting to think i may as well go through the whole process of IVF with a much higher % success seeing as im already going through quite a bit of suffering! My biggest hurdle now is - who to do it with ! Hope i havent confused you further - have you been to see any fertility specialist?

just met with Dr Mohammed who seems to be great - and what i liked about him is he didnt try to push me into anything but laid out my options - one of which seems to be strongly pointing at IVF. I dont know whether to just bite the bullet and go with him (and proceed with IVF now or wait a bit longer) - or go to Dr Pankaj first for a 3rd opinion (i have already been to Dr Fakih) Any recommendations ladies? Anyone else got pregnant with Dr Mohammed? SO confused !!

twinsmum! thanks so much yet again :) you are always so encouraging! i recall in a previous thread you mentioned you had 4 ivf cycles before success - would you mind me asking how you arrived at ivf and did u do you all 4 sessions with Dr Mo? Great news about their success rate - they dont publish them on their website so ive been wondering! Have my app booked in 10days - dont think i can wait that long! lol!

Many thanks for your words of encouragement Karen! we seem to have a similar lifestyle, with DH and I both flying alot for work - so making sure we are togther to do the ``deed' at the right time is also quite difficult! how long do i need to chart to start getting accurate readings you think?

i have to confess i havent read it - although i have heard it mentioned quite a bit on this forum. have resisted, but today i think i will go buy it. I got my period :( not preggers. Dont think i can do another month of hormones so soon (as per my other thread) ive lost alot of energy and gained weight which is really putting me down (specially as i was extra careful with my food and i worked out religiously with a trainer!) And of course weight gain and pcos are terrible for fertility! i think im going to try the natural path this mth - ive never charted before, will start - and if anyone has any other words of wisdom - or any natural supplements etc would be greatly appreciated!
