We have used Safa vets in the past and we were very happy. Although large clinics give reassurance it is the individual doctor that makes the difference for your pet and we were very happy with ones we met in the clinic. Mel edited by mel_uk on 11/05/2012

Hi ladybird14, do you know if Latifa offers nuchal scans? i got confused with the package prices but it seems to be the most economical option. Their baby unit has very good reviews as well. AH can not look after babies before 29-30 weeks so City and Latifa are the main options My worry is whether it is possible to build a link with your doctor. Do you have to discuss the same thing again and again each time you see someone? It would be great to have your feed back Mel Hi AnonDubai: I'm only 9 weeks now. Initially got a price from City as everyone is raving about it, but because I'm having twins its going to cost us about 33 000 dirhams!! So I've heard a couple of ladies mentioning Latifa on here and went today to check it out and it's literally half the price! Plus it's a really nice hospital as well. Can you recommend a good doctor, as I hav m 12 week scan coming up with City, bu will have to rebook it at Latifa instead.

Thank you for your feedback, these are good reviews for Dr George. I am so worried this time with the twins. It was a bit tricky to get an appointment but now i have booked my first visit. Wish me luck ! Mel Massive congratulations! I cannot recommend Dr George enough. I had a high risk pregnancy and was sent to him for my 20 and 32 week scans, he is an amazing man. I loved him so much that i arranged with my obgyn to get Dr George as back-up in case she couldnt be around on the day of my ds's delivery. edited by mel_uk on 06/05/2012

thank you for your input, sorry distracted from some other family news. It seems that schools are no different than the rest of Dubai businesses with a quick turn round of staff. I suppose it will be down to the individual family rather than the school in terms of the child's performance. it is so difficult to plan ahead with such a shifting environment. Do A levels put u at disadvantage if you want a US university? can you point me where I can get some info about selections for US institutions?
