I know there are lists of things to do in Dubai on the ExpatWoman site but I was wondering where you ladies have personally gone that would be good to take visitors? I have not traveled much yet myself.
Anything besides the obvious Burj Kalifa?
Mostly sightseeing and unique to this side of the world. More low to medium priced places as well, I think the expensive things are usually well publicized :)
I have kids but they do not.

Look up these options.
Dubai creek (boat trip) and Deira (souks and history museum) - very authentic. Business bay and Dubai canal that leads to Safa park for a walk with a nice view. JBR/Dubai marina/ JLT/ Madinat - great places for long walk lots of places to eat/have a drink. Broadwalk on The Palm with food trucks plus you will see Atlantis hotel and can visit aquaventure water park. Al qudra lakes. Global village can be quite interesting as well
