Yes there are PO Boxes in the basement of buiding 6 shoreline. You don't need to live in building 6 to open one. You need to go to the post office, al,wasl branch is the easiest, and give a copy of your passport, ID card and tenancy contract and if there are boxes available, they will open one for you.

I'm not sure we've been to the same place?? - Compared with last year there were far more activities. And there were some free activities as well, which I was really surprised with - ie, writing a letter to Santa and post it - cannot do more christmassy! - There is also the fake snow area where kids can make snowballs etc...this is free as well and they could have charged loads for this I guess... There was also this stall where kids make cupcakes and this was free, and they were handing out some self raising flour to the adults. The Santas - I have only seen one and he was fine. Near the main stage there are also some kind of snow sprinklers; you can dance, have fun under them; felt this was christmassy as well.

Closest to the beach @ Jumeirah, you have Shakespeare in the Village mall - This is in the same area as Lime Tree but on the other side of the road, which means you are closest to the beach as you don't have to cross the road. If you exit through the backside of the mall, you walk 5 minutes and you are on Jumeirah open beach.

I remember the Monaco thread Daza!! Lady all proud of her move to a new house in Dubai as it had an additional floor level which would be soooooooo convenient when she has guests around. Second lady casually saying oh we are moving as well - first lady asking where to? - second lady casually saying "to Monaco" - First lady went yellow!!!

Building 10 is the one to live in as it does not belong to nakheel and you don t have the additional charges for the beach access. The rents are although a bit higher as the flats are all furnished. There is a nursery right in the building , play areas, and the pool is now heated over the winter months. There is also a grocery store, actually two of them, one more like a mini mart and the other one is fine food. If you are on the road side on lower levels, you may hear a bit of street noise, but you can also have a flat on the beach side. Good luck with your search.

My daughter went to Rising Stars and loved it. Theyt have a very strong programme for pre-school, very structured. Loved that it had a home feeling; not every day was a special day like in other nurseries where kids are crawling under special events! Loved that they had a very good mix of activities and as well letting the kids develop by playing and discovering things by themselves. Very good techers as well. Have friends whose kids went to Oasis - Liked it as well but always said they were less proactive with kids and parents. For example in the morning we always had the teacher welcoming the parents at the class door in Rising Stars, always standing and a nice word for everybody - Heard and witnessed in Oasis that teachers sat there and were less welcoming. May seem a detail but for me spoke a lot re. politeness and general rules of behaviour for kids to witness. Good luck with your search.

Building 10 is not short stay. It does not belong to Nakkheel (which is a good thing) - It is privately owned and is a fantastic building - All flats are furnished, hence the prices for 3 beds (190 - 210) - There is a nursery on the ground floor; a grocery store and a hairdresser and spa:))) You also have pharmacies and restaurants which you can order take aways as well. In my experience and I have lived there 4 years, the Palm is not isolated as there is direct acces to Sheik Zayed Road. It is also one of the few areas in Dubai where you can walk and don't have to use a car to access shops and restaurants. There are playgrounds for kids and pools with baby splashing area - The beach and gardens. Good luck with your search.
