If from what you've written is all true and your DH talks about you all the time to her and genuinely just gets on with her as a friend then try not to worry too much. By all means tell him you're uncomfortable with the dinners out but don't try to suggest a ban on their friendship, this will do damage to your marriage. Most men I know hate being dictated to and it's the one thing they moan about to their friends. Not all women are out to catch your husband. Sometimes it's just nice to talk to the opposite *** to get their opinion on stuff. Most of my very good friends are blokes because there's no nonsense with them and I like it that way. Hope you get it sorted x

I was in Sri Lanka recently and you obtain your entry visa whilst on the plane. I also holiday'd there 2 years ago, and again we didnt have to pre order our visa's. You're right. You don't have to pre order visa's but in this case I suggest she does to ensure entry. I'd rather do that than get all the way there with child only to be declined.

No but get all the visa's done online to avoid this. It takes around 5 mins and saves so much time.

I pay my lovely (live in) maid 1500 a month. It may seem low to some but we didn't need her. She came to us as her previous employer left to go back to the uk and she knew us from the neighbourhood. I have offered to find her better paid work but she won't. Our neighbour offered her 1000 more a month but she declined because she is happy with us. I give her on average an extra 600 a month for babysitting/out of hours duties which helps me a lot. I see her family on Skype a lot and they live a lovely life together because of her. She's a diamond but I would never be able to afford her if she demanded any more. She knows that, appreciates that and knows I would support her in finding better paid work as she's great! HTH

What about the Chelsea apartments on Sheikh Zayed Road. I'm sure the metro station is right outside and it's not too far away from the airport.

In addition, they gave us some constructive [b'>advice on how to bring the boys up to speed so that they are not too far behind their peers[/b'> - an email I passed on to my Aunt who is a primary school principal, she gave the content and wording her approval! Perhaps the school is in the first throes of idealism but I prefer that to the 'sorry, computer says nooo' attitude of many other Dubai schools. So they're not selective then!! Are they also expecting you to continue teaching once they're in the school? Does this not ring alarm bells? edited by dinks on 28/06/2013 Ring alarm bells for what?

The model probably came out in 2008, that's why it's called the 2008 model. Unless the manufacturers change the model every year (which is unlikely) they will be more well known for the launch model year.

If I want to lose a few pounds without killing myself my typical daily diet is this:- Zero Alcohol, Just water and lots of it Small bowl cornflakes, semi skimmed milk no sugar Salad for lunch with a light dressing Meat or Fish and vegetables for dinner I also take my backside off the sofa and do a fair amount of walking or going inside the soft play area with DD usually gives me a good workout.

When ordering burger in TGI's they asked me how I would like the burger cooked to which I replied 'Medium/rare'. The waitress returned 2 minutes later saying, 'I'm sorry Maaaaam we don't have Meduim/rare Burgers left, Only Well done'. - Not quite sure how it gets to well done without passing Medium :) I then asked why they could not do the burger Medium/rare, to which she replies 'Because it at a dangerous level to eat maaaam' - They would explode if they saw Steak Tartare :D Giggling a lot at this :)

i made him say sorry (just [b'>holding his ears[/b'>) and give them a kiss which he happily gave :) tell him firmly "ouchie, you hurt me.mama is sad and angry. [b'>i will not talk to you for 5 min[/b'>" I am sorry, but your baby is 14 months old. Good god, how mean are you? and selfish too. Why is this all about you? You want him to feel empathy at 14 months? I too, am curious to know about his diet. I am sure that you must be giving him something. Did you potty train him yet? Don't waste time, perhaps you can pin him to it. This is a bit harsh from a lady who owns a nursery! She's obviously trying her very best with him.

Drinking too much alcohol from 12 til 4 isn't part of the culture here but every hotel does a brunch on a Friday. I despise pageants in a huge way and would never encourage my daughter to be part of one. However, as a business idea in Dubai? Excellent idea and certainly worth pursuing.

When I told my dad (GYNO) that I was pregnant (12 weeks) the first thing he did was open a bottle and give me half a glass (but that was it) He told me not to read too many books or other peoples stories as it would worry me and that's worse. He gave me the basics on what I should avoid all together (which was a very small list) and told me to enjoy the pregnancy and you'll be fine. Shellfish is fine as long as it's fresh

We use easycar.com and are happy with what they come up with. If you find the prices high check the excess amount. We usually raise this to 500 to bring down the premium.

You're not, no. I thought the usual was 1 month a year and that this is usually taken in one go? Don't back down. Don't give her the money. If you do this things will only get worse. Have you tried telling her just how unreasonable she is being? Have you told her how unhappy YOU and your husband are with her? Maybe you should tell her that if she doesn't buck her idea's up then you will have to let her go when her visa is up (although it sounds like you've made your mind up already) I personally wouldn't stand for this behaviour from staff in or out of the office.

aww the guys are really getting it here lol.....so. on the other side, Women wearing 4" heels but cannot walk in them...they take tiny baby steps and lean forward like a comedy show. or Women buying a lovely classy dress that should look great but, they buy it 1 or 2 sizes too small!!!!! not a good look, certainly not posh, rather the other way..... Now I will take the jeans and a great jacket anyday with a fab Tshirt :)...... Women that can't walk in their heels is quite amusing to watch! Women that can't walk in heels when they step out of a bar is just something else. I assume they wear them because they want a bit of height, accentuate what could be a cracking set of pins and feel sexy. Just 3-4 steps in...... Jeans that fit, casual jacket, semi smart t-shirt and slight heel, classy.

For the Arenco villa's you will have to keep on at them as the chances of them calling you are slight. I live in one and already know of 3 people that are down on the waiting list and I know my neighbours have friends that also want to move to the area. Early June is when most of us have to send notice to renew so if you can hold off then i'd try again then. If one does become available don't dilly dally like I did last year. We viewed one and thought we'd sleep on it! Gone the next day. The person had been in and signed the new contract the same day we viewed. We were just lucky to call one day and they had received notice 10 minutes before I called. Union Properties have some really nice villa's in the same area too. I hope this helps and good luck. It's such a lovely area.

The best flights i've been on have been with the baby. She just slept in the bassinet and I had all that extra leg room to stretch out, pure bliss. Baby is now 3.5 who thinks she's 12 and it's hard keeping her amused. However, Emirates inflight entertainment for kids is fantastic so not a complete nightmare.

Sorry for the late reply. The CCTV is working at the nursery but you can't yet view from outside. Etisalat are saying that the facility you need to do this is not yet available in the area but will be very soon. They mentioned something about fibre optics! I haven't a clue about this stuff. You can sit in the lobby and view your childs play on CCTV.

I had my first at AH. Found everyone very professional. I had a really easy pregnancy & labour so I guess everything should have gone well. I had Dr Christian Jozsa back then who was great and Dr Braithwaite now who is also great. I'm a pretty low maintenance patient so as long as they are fully qualified, experienced and on the ball i'm happy

It costs me 500dhs for a tankini. The quality is just excellent and it's reversable too so i've basically got 2 for 500dhs. The 1st wash is really important as it keeps the colour and the costume in tact regardless of how many washes. I can't remember what the lady in the shop told me to do on that 1st wash but i did it and it still looks brand new after tons of washes.
