what a great idea - will certainly email them. Unfortunately their classes are all during the week, but maybe they'd be up for some extra tuition fees :)

Hi there - anyone know where i can get some nice bathroom storage ? like those little transparent 3 drawers, small ones, in glass or nice plastic that sit on top near sink or on dressing table for make up etc ? not the plastic white /clear ones you get in carrefour...a bit nicer...

thanks mrsg1 - i am working so that is a huge plus for me. i also loved their garden which is a big factor for me in the nursery - nicer than homegrown. Same for the inside set up The biggest sways for me re homegrown is i like how the dedicate fun classes to exercise/arabic singing/alphabet/numbers etc - but then - does any of that even matter in nursery? Also - homegrown is so massively popular - am i missing something?

Hi there - we lived in GCW for 5 years in a bungalow and are only moving out now. We have never had a damp or smell issue at all in our house, altho we did have a high water table issue when building our pool - but if you are only renting - thsi should not be a concern. The foggin they do is 3 times a week and thats under a schedule so you just learn to avoid the park those days at those hours. The lighting i agree is terrible, but they have been promising to fix that (and the GC ladies are great at pushing management to get things done!) Apart from that, great supermrkts, hairdresser, petstore, and nail bars. traffic is not so bad in and out - we are just moving because the commute to work for me is too long - but im very sorry to leave!

Hi there - we are currently moving house and looking at jumierah/um sequim and barsha. Im aware that barsha i will probably get a better deal on a bigger newer nicer house (and still very central!) - but im hesitant on the location and would love some insight from people who live there - hows the construction these days? traffic getting in and out ( some of the jum traffic is awful!) Theres a gorgeous new park in barsha which is a huge selling point. What about other amenities? supermarkets near by apart from lulus/carrefour? takeaways easy? Would love everyones views please!

thank you ladies! yes he can eat a rice cake/baby biscuit/sandwich perfectly fine alone. but if i try and incorporate lumps or even things like rice he tends to gag. i even put some yoghurt on the rice to make it go down a bit smoother the other day - and he wasnt impresssed! i am very aware of the link bween chewing and speech - hence my concern!

Hi there - not sure if you would consider london. But my son was born with one of his kidneys nonfunctioning and needed to have it removed. we were referred to a Mr Peter Cuckow - he is lead at GOSH and at Portland. Naturally we were so nervous - we did a massive amount of research globally and heard he was one of the best. LO had his kidney removed on a friday afternoon and by sunday afternoon we were in the park playing. Keyhole surgery with little scaring. Happy to discuss further offline

thanks ladies - i seem to be failing massively in the non puree transition. While he can eat finger food fairly adequately - like a sandwich/biscuit etc if his food is too lumpy he will gag and refuse to eat anymore. I really thought id have cut down on pureeing by now. that said, he does eat a very varied diet. Altho i am still giving him formula milk :s
