Oops, forgot to add. If that doesn't work, there is a shop in Dubai Mall close to the Waitrose in the basement, its beside a small tailor and then have fixed my blackberry in the past when my keyboard was stuck once. It looks like a key shop but they repair phones.

Mine often freezes too. You have to remove the battery, then turn back on the phone and then type ALT LG LG on the key board. This works for me and a certain number of my friends. It clears the log on the phone and that's what is causing it to freeze. Works for me and my friends so hopefully will work for you too :)

I've been suffering from migraines for 15 years now and the only medication that actually works for me is called Zomig and you can find it now at pharmacies here. Make sure your daughter eats when she takes the tablet as it can be a bit harsh on her stomach.

I use a company called Churchill. They come to your house and they are fast and efficient. They did a great job for me. I can't remember how much I paid them as was a year ago but I remember that they were really affordable. You can reach them on 800 7076 or [email protected].

I had never heard of it either until I was told that I could give birth there or in the American Hospital. I went along with my husband to check it out and let's just say, over my dead body would I ever go back. The underground car park is so small, our car got stuck on the ramp. We arrived upstairs to an empty reception and we waited 15 minutes before finding someone as the floor was empty. The place is depressing! Luckily my waters didn't break. There is absolutely nothing modern nor international about that place. In my honest opinion, I would look elsewhere!

Hi ladies, Has anyone used the Sofa Studio in Al Quoz? I am looking for a company to custom-make a sofa bed for my spare room. I have looked all over Dubai for the past 6 months and either colour is wrong or size is not good. Many thanks!

Jorg Stobel on Beach Road, villa 780 is also excellent. Have been going to him for years and so has my hubby and he's very good. He's fast and efficient and does wonders for my ingrown toe nails.

Am planning a trip to Jordan in April, the first week, not the second as it's Easter holidays and some hotels are sold out already. Have been told that one night in Amman is enough so will do that, then 2 nights in Petra and 2 nights on the Dead Sea. The Movenpick hotel at the entrance to Petra has come highly recommended by a friend and their hotel on the Dead Sea is supposed to be very nice too :-) Was also told to hire a driver as there are police checkpoints in certain areas so the driver facilitates that for you plus he knows the routes and you can sit back and enjoy the trip even more and not have to worry about car hire.

Hello ladies, Has anyone tried the Cellu M6 cellulite treatment at the Manchester Clinic MedSpa? If so, were the results good?

The Italian furniture shop, Natuzzi, on Sheikh Zayed road sells excellent leather cleaning products if you can't find a company to do it for you.

Most places I checked in RAK and Fujairah are full as I too was looking for somewhere to go during Eid. Only place I found and still have reasonable rates for such a beautiful hotel is the Shangri-la in Abu Dhabi. Been there before several times and its great with a small child. Staff are friendly, there are seversal kiddie's pools and location just across from the mosque is lovely and they have several beaches. When I checked 2 days ago for myself, they still had rooms.

I have been using Jim'll Fix It for the past 3 years and they are just great. Maybe cost a bit more than you expected but they do a great job and are very professional and leave your house tidy once done. It's run by 2 British guys and they do just about everything. Number is 800 349 or 04 340 2338.

I lived there for a year. It's a fantastic hotel. Not sure why AAQ said its far from the beach because it's actually on the beach and they have a really nice pool overlooking Sheikh Zayed Mosque. Highly recommend it.

Hi ladies. Can one of you give me a rough idea of how much a filler costs? Thanks so much. Apart from the Kaya clinic at Town Centre, any other good suggestions?

Hello. I just moved to The Lakes (Emirates Living) and would like to sign up my 2 year old for a few hours per week in one of the nurseries here. Can anyone tell me if there are good or not? I have no experience in nurseries as this is my first child. Thanks so much.

Hi there! Glad to hear tooth is in and rash gone. When it happens again (as it will..), I use sudocream on a daily basis on my baby's bottom but when he is teething and has a really sore bum, the cream I swear by is Weleda nappy changing cream. It's all organic so 100% natural and it works wonders on my baby's bum. My sister swears by it too and she used it on her 2 children. I normally bring a tube back from Europe but am sure you can find it here if you look around. I know that the Organic Food & Cafe in Dubai stocks Weleda and I'm sure they can order the nappy cream for you if they don't already have it in stock. It's really the best out there. One other small tip, I NEVER use baby wipes on my baby's bottom....just plain old cotton wool and water which is a lot less aggressive on our little one's bums! And one last tip for teething, when I was in Europe last summer, a lady in a pharmacy in Switzerland suggested I buy an amber stone necklace for when my baby is teething and I had heard before that this worked really well in soothing their pain so I did buy one and my son wears it almost every day as he's teething now and he's never cried once with any of his 6 teeth!
