Hi all, Advice please!!! - I have just got a message from my landlord today to say he wants the apartment fully decorating before I leave, it doesn't specify that in the contract? I am concerned because I have little money and I'm not sure if I can afford it? Where do I stand within the law? Is there a legal body I could approach, someone to help me? Any help will be very appreciated! edited by Mrs Smith on 05/03/2014 <em>edited by Mrs Smith on 05/03/2014</em>

We have been using a lovely maid, from a cleaning company for the past three years on a part-time basis. She is a Filipina Christian lady who is honest, trustworthy, energetic and hard working. I have two dogs and children and she coped very well with them, she is a quiet lady and fitted very well into our family, I would highly recommend her. She has asked me to place her information on the website. Her contract with the company has just finished and she is looking for full-time work. If I needed a full-time maid I would not hesitate to employ her. Please contact her: (pronounced Clarissa) Clarita 050 363 1271 <em>edited by Mrs Smith on 21/02/2014</em>

Hi all, DD 14th birthday coming up, we've decided to give her a party for a change (we've done cinema, skiing, art parties etc. before) has anyone any ideas for venues that include a good DJ, room and buffet which are not too pricey? She doesn't want to have it at home. She'd like to invite about 60. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. x

July last year we stayed in Bankok for 2 days and then two weeks Dusit Thani Thailand Phuket http://www.lagunaphuket.com/hotels/dusitthani/index.php we had a great time, it was one of seven hotels situated around large lagoons and beach. http://www.lagunaphuket.com/hotels/index.php (The Banyan Tree is by far the best, but was out of our price bracket). However, it was just coming into rainy season as we left.

We have this cover, we've just gone onto gold card. They are an average company imo. I have found that it depends where we use it, for example when using it at medi center we have to pay for quite a lot, however we went to certain hospitals (on list) we were covered for said same thing. Hope this helps.

I don't know if this is useful... I found Horizon school had the BSME accreditation (see their website for report).

Horizon. It not only has better facilities, but is also stocked with resources that you won't find at Safa. School environments (look, feel corporate identity and image) has a massive impact on children and staff alike and should not be ignored IMHO. There are tangible diferences between the two schools and even on performance level Horizon excels above Safa. There is not even grass to play on for the kids at Safa. Going to Safa Park once a year for sport hardly overcomes the problem of not having a decent playground and sportsfields. Our children went to Safa and we moved them to a different school precisely because Safa is not matching the standards of international private schooling we feel comfortable with. I understand that some schools offer great buildings and environments and poor education, however the schools under discussion is Horizon and Safa and Horizon is by yards the better option between the two. edited by Singapore Sling on 15/02/2011
