I only go to Tony & Guy now and see their colourists. I had a terrible time with my highlights at Salon Ink and ended up with wrecked granny hair. Its fine if you get the two owners/managers but not good if you cant and they get really busy.

Yes! Have had the wooden version and the natural woven sets and they get destroyed in the heat. We got our current rattan set for an amazing price from Ranches Furniture - they have quite a bit in and seemed so much more reasonable than the big shops. We wanted the expensive look but werent prepared to pay the massive prices. They're on face book/ have website etc....or think can call direct - 055 108 1238. Good luck with your search!!

Just be careful when you buy cheap rattan - I bought mine though ranches furniture - [email protected] this time and they are lasting brilliantly but I have bought cheap before and they all fell apart within the year. Check - ask around to see who else has bought from this cheap shop before you buy - just incase! You dont want to end up with my with rattan that had fallen apart within 6 months - it was cheap to start with but ended up an expensive mistake! :)

For rattan your best bet in the ranches is Ranches Furniture. [email protected] or the number is zerofivefiveonezeroeightonetwothreeeight. I got a sofa set, dining table and a couple of sunbeds through them - all really great quality - think they only do the light brown natural colour at the moment so it depends what you are looking for - beautiful though and delivered the next day.

Hi, I dont really understand that comment. Labradoodles have been successfully bred for many years and through this newer cross breed have eradicated the common genetic problems found in pure labradors. In fact, it could be argued that continual 'inter-breeding' within the same pedigree continues the genetic problems within that family of dogs......? edited by Mrs123 on 15/01/2012

Sorry to slightly hijack this discussion but do any of the dog lovers on this thread know of how we can purchase a labradoodle puppy? We are not new to dogs but my little one has some allergies and this breed has been recommended. I have been advised to ensure it's from a decent breeder and at least 2nd or 3rd generation to ensure wont impact my little ones allergies. Any advice much appreciated!

Silent night at Debenhams in Mirdif City Centre. Only when they have a deal on but great service. Interestingly they even do made to measure but you have to ask for the manager of the store to help you there.

That's a really good point regarding the legal action. Our mistake was not getting the deadline put in the contract so 50 days which is what we were promised has turned into 180 and the work is still far from complete. However, I do feel that it's my duty to ensure that people are very careful when dealing with companies that do treat customers like this. The strain that this prolonged, costly and mis-managed project has caused my family is great and the right thing is trying to ensure that people dont do the same thing as we did. By all means use this company expat women, but insist on getting a deadline put into your contract otherwise be prepared to be dealing with them 6,7,8,9 months on.... edited by Mrs123 on 14/01/2011
