I just stopped dead. You have to really want to stop though. I had a million cut up cucumbers and when I wanted a smoke, I munched on cucumbers - that helped me

What about Antalya in Turkey? There isn't a lot to do there other than at the hotel, as it's basically a place on the beach that has hotel after hotel of all-inclusive resorts. The hotels themselves are huge, and have a lot to do: several pools, beach, night entertainment, activities for children and adults, etc. You can leave the hotel and there are boat trips around the area and little shops. It was a great holiday for us for about a week and there was plenty to do at the hotel. It was also very easy and convenient with children. I recommend the Delphin chain of hotels (they have about 5 or 6 hotels in Antalya). Thank you - I will look into it, although not sure I am confident enough to take 2 little ones on a boat trip alone lol

I hope someone can clarify this for me. Would it be illegal if I employ someone who is working here as a teacher (on her own working visa) to help out with regular babysitting duties - collect after school and stay with children, help in the summer holidays etc until we came home from work. Want to make sure that if I do go ahead with this that I am not, and she is not, doing anything illegal! She will not be a maid, she will be a nanny. Look forward to any advice. Many thanks. edited by Tulip1234 on 10/05/2015 You said "her own working visa" Im not sure what you mean by that - this is what will make all the difference. If she is a teacher and the school has given her a visa then it is absolutely illegal.

Thank you all ladies! She insists on coming because she is a kill joy. She doesnt like the thought of my dad having any fun without her and is jealous of our relationship. It would be much better for all concerned if she just stayed at home but she wont. She is a controlling, manipulative mare and what my father sees in her, I dont know. I have even asked him! He just says "she is not that bad once you get used to her" ha!

If you want her to have a good time maybe start by respecting her as your father's choice of partner.. just saying... What about her respecting her partner's daughter and grandchildren? Good luck with your plan. I would take her to the desert and leave her there. It crossed my mind x

Emirates palace in AD has awesome afternoon tea Bateux dubai for views, dinner and boat!! I was thinking Bateaux Dubai but they have moved from accross from the British Embassy to the other side of the creek. It was hard enough to get to the original location on time after working and sorting the kids, we can never make it across in time :-(

There was an accident this morning by Oasis centre that took up 3 lanes of SZR which might explain the back up of traffic even once you had passed the accident site
