Hello ladies! I am a single, English female in my early 30's and will be moving to Dubai for work in two weeks' time. I am just wondering whether anyone has any advice, hints or tips for a soon to be British expat like me? Anything from practical advice that I might need to do prior to moving, or anything for once I get there. I would particularly welcome any advice around money and finances. For example, I am unsure about how much cash to take, how easy it will be for me to transfer money from my current account to The Emirates once I get here, any fees that might incur, etc. Also, anything finance and money management related for once I actually arrive would be fab! However, any hints, tips and pointers would be greatly appreciated! :-) Thank you. Preferred do it via an MNC bank where you would get best transfer rate with no fees, double check before transaction.
