No wonder you can't sleep-so sorry to hear your news-been through that three times (once the day I came home from hospital with our new and very sick baby) so know all too well how it feels. Hoping and praying your BH finds something else really soon xx Thanks dear, will leave it to God though its really hard I know it seems so at the time but things do work out-can you post the sort of work he does in case one of the ladies has a lead? At least you will feel you have done something to help then He is into construction, he is a Senior Quantity Surveyor Don't know of anything here hon, but would you conscider moving to Qatar? Know of several positions in exactly that field. Thanx Arohadxb, wouldn't mind moving anywhere for work, so quatar is great

its nothing to worry about, my DD has too from the time she was 2weeks and she is now 3months. Her Dr told me not to worry about at all though it used to scare the **** out me at first, I was told it would normalise on its own as she grows. Umbilical hernias are normal so no need to worry

I recommend Dr Shola at Dubai London clinic and Dr Khan at Coopers Clinic, my DD too has a hernia she is 2months now and both doctors told me not to worry about as it will go on its own by the time she is 3yrs or so, if it doesnt thats when I can think of surgery if i want.

You can get the motilium from any pharmacy in Dubai. How are you doing today Muu? hi lemondrops, Iam doing very well, guess I was just stressing myself over nothing. Saw her Dr today and she was very impressed with the weight gain, she is 2months today and she weighed 5.3kg. I guess thats how it is when you are a first time mum,you worry about anything. thanks alot

Muu Big *Hugs*! First of all relax! I found that stressing about my supply had a counterproductive effect. The minute I learned to relax and accept what ever the situation was, my supply rose back up. In fact, I am now only pumping maximum 3/4 times a day, not taking any Fenugreek/motilium, and I pump more than a litre of EBM a day. For me, learning to relax was key. So, I have a few questions for you before I can try to be of help. How do you know you don't have enough milk for your LO? Are you pumping or BF? If you're BF, how is your daughter's input in terms of wet and soiled nappies a day? Have you been weighing her regularly and what has been her weight gain so far? Have you seen a lactation consultant to discuss your supply issues? Do you have a pump and if so what kind? Sorry for all the questions, it's just that if I have a better idea of what's going on I'm hoping I can be of help, and others can chime in to with words of wisdom and support! x Thanks for the response, Iam breastfeeding throughout. The last time I had her weighed was on the 1st of this month and the weight was good. For the past three days, all she wants to be on the breast long enough, the wet nappies are not as much as before and my breast are too too soft with that feeling like they are so empty. I havent yet seen a lactation consultant but I have an appointment with one on thursday. I have a medela breast pump but I dont use it because she was emptying the breasts well and supply was great

Hi lemondrops, how did u manage to get your breast milk right on track? For two days now, I feel like am starving my DD who is just 2months as my supply is so so low. Iam taking fenugreek, motilium and brewer's yeast but they dont seem to work on me anymore, am so going mad and desperate because my DD does not accept formula at all. you can email me on [email protected] edited by muu on 16/05/2011

congratulations my dear, I too had a similar problem, my nipples were flat making breastfeeding so difficult and my baby would cry each time i tried breastfeeding. expressing was the only way out then but i was determined to make her start breastfeeding coz expressing + bottle cleaning was so tiring for me. I spoke to a midwife who helped me,now my DD is 7weeks and full time breatfeeding. if you are ok with expressing then continue and if you want to brestfeed just seek help as the baby is still small and am sure it can work out, its just a matter of patience. good luck

Thank you all for the replies, I took her to the Dr today and was told that it is heat rash and I must not use anything on it as it could irritate the skin further.

DD also had a heat rash that was pretty bad around that time. It went away on its own. However, I would go see a doc anyway. WHere are you located? I can give you nos of docs in Bur Dubai if you are nearby. thanks kcinthecity, I live in JLT, did you apply anything on it and when bathing her did you use anything? how long did it take for it to go away?

I had a D&C last year, bled a little for a few days and did not experience any pain at all like you described, I think it is best you get intouch with your Dr to clear all your worries. Good luck
