There we were DH and I staying up late to watch the thrilling episode after Ronnie walks up to Kat and Alfie in the pub and hands over the kidnapped Tommy (Weds episode)......but as we watched the clock strike 11.15pm last night, we were mortified to see that there was no usual Eastenders!!! Instead we had some 1980's Fools and Horses episode....WTF! Where was that episode and does anyone know if Orbit changed the show schedule? I also find that when I record a film from Orbit, it never records the last 10mins...the crucial bit. Jackie Brown, and Minority report were the two that stopped recording as we got to the crucial bit........Pbbbbtt!!! I don't watch Eastenders here through local TV, we watch via the BBC iplayer. Eastenders here must be several weeks ahead here than in the UK which I find very unusual as the episode when Ronnie hands the baby back to Kat and Alfie is not due to happen until around Easter? I watched the episode from BBC1 last night and it was the one where Kat and Alfie separate. well thanks for the major spoiler there Zannie :( in fact the EE being watched locally is 3/4 weeks behind the UK - the episode that was cancelled sounds like the one following the one that aired on 11 th January where Ronnie gave the baby to Kat on the day of "Tommy's" funeral... i wasn't going to mention it in my earlier post but now that you have - this is not the conclusion to this storyline...i understood the producers were set to keep it going for some months to come.... Apologies ladies, this must have been the one I watched last night as went to watch it tonight and Green Green Grass is on in place of EE.

Thats strange because I watched it last night after The Doctors, then Eastenders followed by Casualty or Holby City, having a senior moment as can't remember whether Casualty or Holby!! and this was about 7.45pm, and boy did I need a box of Kleenex!! edited by Mystery on 11/02/2011 edited by Mystery on 11/02/2011

Just read this thread and wholeheartedly agree with Sue R, why do some EWERS just LOVE to "twist things around and create issues that do not exist" ::) edited by Mystery on 11/02/2011

Why don't you stay somewhere in the middle of both sets of parents and let them do the travelling to visit. Good luck on what you both decide!! ;)
