we are there since 4 years and we love it. it s green, kids parc, tennis course, club house. ideal to have long walk with doggy. yes there is issues but same as other place in Dubai. our son 9 years love it and has lot of friends. very happy to be there.

1st year I arrived in Dubai, I had fostered 8 differents dogs fm the pound fm Dubai municipality Dubai. it was a fantastic experience, with patience and love, all these dogs have found a great family. problem was husband who did not have patience... , so now I foster cats... WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT TO FOSTER PETS IN NEED ? When you foster a pet in need , see what happens: You will have the benefits of having a pet around and enjoy their company without the lifetime commitments. You will gain experience, and you will be able to rescue animals with small issues. You will also know their personalities and suitability for their best home option, so we could look for... a determined home type based on your comments .By fostering, less people will want to buy animals, so in the long run will be less pets breeding mills, and less innocent animals been euthanized for lack of homes. If you have kids , you will be seeding in them a great lesson to become caring and responsible. They will also be spreading the amazing experience with other children and in their school, making pet fostering a common practice. You could design your own fostering periods and for how long you wish to do it, what type of pet, making the experience very positive . Having animals around has a fantastic therapeutic effect in our life. The only disadvantage is that , you might fall in love and decide to add him/her as a new family member :) " If, with ONE fostering family,10 pets get a second chance per year; with ONE HUNDRED families, 1000 pets could have a second chance in a year"

Dear Animal Lovers, In the last 3 months we have come to know of 4 cases where cats were out in the balcony and, for one reason or another, the poor animals have fallen, ending up in a tragedy. In one of these cases the cat jumped to another balcony and has not been found since. For those whom are not aware, if the pet causes some human injuries the pet owner will be held responsible and could be facing legal charges. Felines have by nature a very strong hunting impulse; even a flying bird in the horizon could trigger their native instinct. In many cases it’s deadly before they realize the danger. In a question of seconds you could lose your beloved pet. "Preventing is more effective than lamenting" Please share facebook page : "The Animal Project"

found on FB fm "the animal project'' In regards to the brutal killing of the gravid Iguana opposite Al Bayan Newspaper and after receiving an email and a call from some of the witnesses involved on the incident, we have done the following. We emailed and called the MOEW yesterday and this morning (no response). We were at DM since morning trying to get some information and action. We were diverted to make a complaint to the police. 2pm we were at Bur Dubai Police station and explained the case to BurDubai Police station ( an internal investigation will be conducted in the next few days). With the evidences we have we will approach Dubai Prosecution Department for a public investigation. Sunday we will visit MOEW Minister under secretary, Chief of Dubai Police) and finally Director of DM. We take this incident very serious and we will do what in our hands to prevent a repetition of the terrible ordeal.

hi., I live there. there is a club house where a lot of mom are going, you can be member or if not, you just pay a fees for the pool. there is playground where lot of kids play. In JI. there is 2 big playground with always kids and easy to meet mom. . there is also a forum for the resident on fb : jumeirah islands residents where you can post an add to meet other mom. it s nice community with lof of children and facilities. welcome to JI.

hi, I live next in a villa. so far there only few appart rented. not yet finish outside, still lot of workers around. also you have 2 mosquee very closed. (second one soon finished, still under construction ) . but you have facilities of Jumeirah island with playground, tennis and clubhouse, lakes very pleasant area. rgds
