Just wanted to add that Vienna and Nuremberg had great activities for the kids. In Vienna they could make cookies, candles, a welcome mat, a pillow case, etc. It was in German but my kids could still follow along.

We went this past Christmas to Prague, Nuremberg and Strasbourg. All were lovely but Strasbourg was our favorite. Everywhere was just so Christmassy which is what we wanted. We have also been to Vienna and Budapest but Strasbourg still wins. :)

Thanks for the recommendation. I used Feel Pink last night for my daughters party and they were fabulous. I will definitely use them again for pampering myself. :)

My hubby designed this new game called Chivi with my daughters for the Ipad/Ipod - It is super cute for kids! Let me know what you think if you have played it. edited by nbmom on 01/02/2012

We just got back - it was super crowded but the service was great. They greeted us like we were in Canada - "Hey how are you doing today?" The bagel was delicious and tasted like home and the coffee is the same! The prices are great too - a medium coffee is 9 dhs = 2.40.

Okay - sorry for the alarm. It may have been clouds. It sure did look like smoke coming out. :). I had a friend call and ask what was going on and when we looked it looked very much like smoke... I guess clouds are too rare in Dubai. :) edited by nbmom on 10/01/2011
