I'm 27 weeks with twins thanks to Dr Ghina! She's the best! congratulations dear ....wish u a heath baby ...dear new dubai momma. plz tell me how much did it cost u total in ivf fakih n did dr gave u any diet plan during n before ivf ....Plzz reply 32,000 ICSI package, no diet recommended but I did Paleo diet (Google it) for 3 months leading up to ivf. Lost 20 lbs and I think that was partly responsible for my success, as I had much better success than previous attempts. High protein low carb supposedly helps egg health.

I had a fabulous experience, in fact I'm still there seeing a twin specialist for my pregnancy, 33 weeks now! I saw Dr Ghina, she was amazing, even gave me her mobile number so I could whatsapp her questions whenever. No other hidden costs.

Does anyone know what nurseries provide FS2? My dtr is in FS1 currently at Jebel Ali Village Nursery in JBR, I would prefer another year of nursery setting as we will probably only be here for one more year, no need to make the big school transition just to take her out halfway through the year. Thanks!

Ladies I did IVF at FakihIVF Dubai with Dr Ghina, first time worked, now I'm 33 weeks with twins! We needed ICSI, package was 32,000 which included everything except the progesterone for early pregnancy, which wasn't much.

An IVF cycle package at Fakih is 32,000, including everything except the post transfer meds, which didn't cost too much, maybe 200 aed/week, continued until 8 weeks of pregnancy. I know Bourn hall are similar in rates.

How frustrating! Our problem is low count, motility and morphology for unknown reason. His last sample was greatly improved though with 12 million. IMSI is a stricter ICSI where they use a more high powered microscope to pick the best sperm. Well I wish you the best! It's great you have some frozen eggs for this attempt!! I only had 8 retrieved so we fertilized all of them.

Hi Dapple! We just finished IVF at FakihIVF for male factor infertility, and are currently 7.5 weeks pregnant with twins. This was our third IVf cycle. First gave us our daughter, second was unsuccessful. This was my first cycle in Dubai. How many rounds have you done? I found IMSI to greatly improve our embryo quality.

hi newdubaimomma congrats to you!! im 8 weeks today with twins also done at fakih,,, im so super excited!!!:biggrin: I have had the odd spotting days which makes me nervous so taking each day as it comes wishing you all the best :heart: That's awesome!!! We've probably seen each other there lol! Who was your dr? Mine is Dr Ghina. I was there today BC I had some spotting today. All was ok, babies still alive, I had a progesterone shot today and going to do them this week. Have they found the cause of your spotting?

Hey all sorry for dropping off of the face of the earth! Egg collection was quite painful afterwards, in the US they give you good drugs, here it was just Panadol afterwards. Ugh. Anyway we had 8 eggs retrieved, 5 fertilized, and 4 made it to blast! The best 2 were transferred on 2/19. Blood test this Friday so fingers crossed please!! Good luck to all. Xxoo

Good luck this cycle Rose! My appt was great, follicles are 11-13mm, uterus is 13mm and triple stripe, and estradiol was 348. I add cetrotide tomorrow ro prevent ovulation, eek!

Nehks: I had consults at Bourn Hall and Fakih in Dubai, both seemed amazing, I had trouble choosing! There are other more affordable clinics but they have lower success rates. Praying 8 good luck at your appt! I have an appt tomorrow as well, to see how the stims are affecting me. Day 4 today!

Thanks praying! Yes no down reg at all. Just got scanned on day 2 of my cycle and had labs drawn to make sure my ovaries were quiet, no cysts. Then started stims today day 3!

So I started stims today, they gave me my first shot in the office, I'm taking the rest at home although you can go back to the officer daily for injections If you prefer. I am taking Merional 225 units subcutaneously once daily. On Sunday I go back for repeat labs and u/s to see if meds need to be adjusted.

Hi Praying! No we are doing short protocol, from what I understand that is what Fakih usually does. I believe it is 30,000aed for everything, including medications.

I think super high BMI is no good, but 31 is fine!! ? we all have success! Rose usually if there is no defect found a dr would recommend 3 IUIs, then if those fail then move on to ivf. We need ivf for sure, have done it before so that wasn't an issue. I'm waiting for my darn period to start! Hoped it would be today but no such luck.

Praying have you received any details about what medications or protocol you will be on? I just heard 2 days of down regulation starting CD2, followed by stims. My past ivf cycles were much longer than that. I'm a bit confused....
