I have the LG direct drive, not cheap but it only uses the water it needs and washes for as long as it needs. I think it semi fills then somehow knows how dirty it all is and decides on time & water! technology!!

We had similar and think its the drip system in the garden.. Do you have one? We have a handle under the tap in garden where we can turn off the water, once we did this water usage went down. Have a leak under garden somewhere but no idea where. We just turn water on for sprinkler system then off again (we can still use tap when handle turned, just not the sprinklers)

Have you checked the filter at the bottom-open the small flap? I have LG and it was making a dreadful noise, in the filter was 1 dihram and a v nice pair of my knickers (no longer wearable).. Once removed noise gone!

I think Marina is the nicest.. Massages are v nice, chose one that is right for your needs! I like Dreams. Often if quiet they offer you an extra 30 mins massage for about 60 dhs..

Mini M, big slide did used to lead into the toddler bit, but they sealed the opening (was an opening like you get on trampolines).. There is a small walkway between so you could get from toddler bit to balls at bottom of big slide. Mirdiff Play area is v nice, Oasis is OK, slide, ball pit & whole host of toys & musical instruments. Quite similar to Mercato.

Grew 1 tomato bush this year, good crop but not v juicy.. poss due to DS picking them before he should? Left them on a shelf to ripen. Also had some good strawbs altho DS also keeps picking as soon as he sees them. Have Basil, rosemary (did dry out then came back to life no idea how/why), mint, thyme, lemon grass, chives, curry leaves, ginger (not so good I think) and parsely (not been in long fingers x). Fertilise using a Bokashi system.

Just been to recycle area and there was a man there collecting cans before we put them in the bin. He said they take them to a shop in Deira and for each 1kg of cans they get 4dhs. Wondering if this shop would then send the cans to be recycled? Anyone know about the shops that do this and what happens to the cans? Don't mind the man having them as long as they are being recycled.

I have a Bokashi box. Dump all waste in and add some bran "stuff" and it ferments. You get a liquid fertilizer from it then make compost once bin is full either directly in soil or in a large pot. I keep it in my kitchen under sink. Bit smelly when you open it but grass looks fab! There is a website of the lady that supplies it here.
