Hi cckl - i am looking for help for one month for July. Can you put me in touch with the person you recommend? Hi I'm aware of a very nice nanny whom I can recommend personally, she did some overtime looking after my niece and nephew. She is a very honest lady from the Philippines. Lives out and works through an agency, so all legal. Her family - the mother is going away for summer so will not need her. If you are interested in her I will get the details of the agency for you. She is available from end June if not before...

I'd recommend renting an apartment through airbnb.com - great value. We use it all the time, all over the world. We ended up with a great little studio apartment right in the centre of Paris for only $80USD a night. Serviced apartments are great if you've got kids.

We didn't stay at the Double Tree, we rented villas because there was 6 of us. But we have had friends stay at the Double Tree and they loved it. Check out reviews on tripadvisor.

I'm due this Thursday and have been seeing Dr Yamini at Al Zahra. Have been very impressed. Attended the antenatal class with the head midwife Sally a couple of weeks ago and she was great. I have had 3 other friends who have used Dr Yamini and they all recommend her. Two of my friends delivered 4 and 6 weeks ago at Al Zahra. Both natural deliveries with one of my friends doing hynobirthing - both Dr Yamini and the midwives totally supported her. I am also doing hypnobirthing and hope do do everything natural. My little fella hasn't dropped yet so i think he will be late, Dr Yamini has totally been onboard with me waiting as long as possible before medical intervention which goes along my hypnobirhting principles. Will let you know how i get on. :-)
