Thanks so much for all your replies ladies. Ive spoken with the agent this morning and he has advised me to speak with the rent committee, tel no 800 4488. He said that his colleague will pull out our contract and review and should around this time contact both parties to see if we want to renew etc ... I've just printed off a copy of our contract so off to review this :) Thanks once again

Hi Apparently sold out, but limited number of tickets available on the day .. Typically i checked yesterday and both virgin and timeout tickets were showing available, when ive gone to buy theyre both sold out. If anyones got any unwanted tickets or know of anywhere i could get 3 from, i would greatly appreciate it

Weve a similar problem to this with one of our neighbours, we live on the ground floor, hes on the first (and not directly above us)... but once/twice a week he has friends round, girls shreaking and trying to sing, and loud music, whereby we can hear every word. I asked his neighbours who live above us, and they said "oh we cant hear anything"... i cant believe this for a minute. Would you ladies actually go ahead and call the police, or keep reporting to security/Emaar until they do something ??

This confuses me, (i know it doesnt take much). Were relatively new to Dubai, and my hubbie is adament that we dont need an ID card .... he has it clear in his head that his company would have advised us, as it would be something that they would have arranged when we first came out !!?? Would appreciate your comments :)

Thanks ladies :) My husbands fault, wanted to buy a TV tonight, couldnt wait for delivery and installation etc ... wanted to do himself, typical... Tried Spinneys near us, then Waitrose, then he dragged me everywhere, and didnt let me in any clothes shops :) At least ive an idea now where to send him :)
